I was going to watch the whole video but the second you said you don't notice the difference with upscaling, I stopped and disliked the video. I have done tests with guests in my home showing them the same video on YT on my tv then on my shield and they always say how much clearer it looks. If you don't see the difference, then maybe you need to have your eyes checked.

Do you know why my IS keep buffering with the Xfinity stream casting my firestick works fine with the App. Do you have a detail video on how to set it up with Xfinity stream As of today, the Xfinity Stream App is not available for IS. I have to cast Xfinity via the Chrome Cast build in feature casting it from my iphone..

On my 65 TV I notice a big improvement with picture quality using Nvidia's AI Upscaling.....looks great with 1080P but really improves 720P...1080P looks almost 4K and 720P looks 1080P. This is with video files H264, H265, MKV, AVI etc

Can you do a retro gaming installation for the new update. I've been reading that people are having trouble with the new update and their library of Retro games on their shield. I'm trying to find an updated instructional video of retro games for my shield. Thanks

You just went through and listed all the settings. So ething most of us did on our own already. Any setting that people may have come here to get clarity on, you said i dont really know what that does. I appreciate the effort but this was almost pointless.

I would suggest redoing or adding frame switching. That is the most important feature to use if you stream anything outside Plex/kodi. It will prevent the shield from converting 24fps content to 60fps and so on. Streamed material will not stutter with that feature.

Hello, i am trying to connect my Nvidia box to my TV i have in my kitchen. It is not a smart TV, it does have a hdmi, i have plugged it into the hdmi port, i installed a nvidia remote controll on my phone but it does not locate the nvidi to pair, any advice

You didn't explain much about the menus, how to use them or what they do. You just read and flashed through them. I can read the menus for myself. You have a bunch of commenters questions and you haven't answered one of them.

wifi on my tv is faster than ethernet (ethernet port on the tv is the limiting factor) but even the wifi isn't as fast as i'd like it to be. So the ethernet option is one of the 'upgrades' i'm looking forward to.

If you have an OLED you probably won't notice an improved picture quality. I actually think the picture looks better on the TV built in apps lg C1. The shield does wonders for older tvs

I wouldn’t expect ai upscaling to do a lot if you’re applying it to 1080p content with the system resolution set to 1080!
