I just started using sling and while it is the best deal for now. But we left Direct satellite tv after AT&T bought them out, because our bill was never right and had to fight with them for hours every month! And then the attitude that they had was terrible. It was like they had the attitude that they didn’t care if you stayed with them because at the time they had one of the best service out there. But after hearing they aren’t doing to good. I guess people are tired of it! Can’t say I’m sad to see it. When companies like AT&T forget who made them, they deserve to go under!

I've been happy with Sling, for the most part. But today, I signed up for the Fubo free trial, so I could get the Thursday night kickoff game on nbc. HOLY CRAP Y'ALL!!!!! The picture is so much better. I mean, I never thought there was anything wrong with the quality of my picture, but jfc dude. This was just an unreal difference. Don't know if it's the broadband limiter sling has or if it's something else, but wow! The difference was startling. Now I'm trying to justify to myself reducing my sling to orange with the sports package to get ESPN family of networks and switching to Fubo.

SlingTV used to interrupt what I was watching and say, We've stopped your video as we found that you are watching on another device. I changed my password...blah blah blah and I never had anything else on that had Slingtv on it. They were always doing that. It's a LIE...I was only watching it on my TV. Many times the signal would be lost and the show that I was watching would go to a black screen and then I got the Roku menu back up. I was constantly signing back on the Slingtv. That was just the beginning. I emailed their customer service all of the time!

I stream Sling TV probably 12 hours a day and it is 98% flawless. I had Sling a few years back and it would crap out a lot to the point of making me drop it the first 2 or 3 times I tried it. I will say now they have come a long way and it is as good as cable tv. We have unlimited high speed from Comcast. Now just need Internet that’s not so expensive.

This review assumes you know exactly what Sling TV offers generally. I have no idea what you get. I do like that they're trying to go up against the ATT giant. ATT was divested because of their Monopoly desires ....................here we are decades later and they're following that same path toward total control

I am on the fence with Sling. Just signed up for both Orange and Blue plus the 50 hour DVR service. Now I am reading conflicting reviews, some of them not so pretty. Any feedback or recommendations would be appreciated. My current internet is 100MB down and so I am not worried about streaming.

I’m interested in doing one of these streaming services and I’m pretty flexible with the programming however my girlfriend absolutely has to be able to watch Young and the restless. Any suggestions for what service or what package I need to have to do that Thank you

Ok I have been reading these reviews for about an hour now. Here’s my conclusion.
If Sling gives you all you need in stations , networks and programming and your happy
great ! If not move on and find what makes you happy .

It has to be the worst ever - it freezes, or kicks us off all the time. None of our other services do this - only Sling, and they have no plans or desire to fix the issue - I recommend any other service, but never Sling.

Sling TV is a great deal if you like endless tired reruns , nutty CNN, and a abridged black out in your area ESPN. In fact I’m typing this because I now spend most of my viewing time on You Tube.

I got rid of my SLING today, and took Hulu live TV, instead. It was really getting wonky with buffering, etc., lately. I got tired of rebooting all the time. Hulu live works really well for me. --Cindi

Sling works well for us for about a year now. Started with Blue, Orange and DVR packages. Dropped Orange after a couple months as we just weren't watching it.

Very disappointed in streaming TV ... it's actually more expensive and has less to offer than cable and satellite TV.

Trash cuts off ever 2 minutes. Would be our of your mind to trade satilite or cable for internet streaming tv.

I have used Sling for years, it is solid, just need yes more dvr space, but having to pay for it at 50 hours is a con.
