I doubt the BC lawsuit will be successful: Canada considers a lot more information private than Americans do, and are far less litigious by nature, so just suing to try and impose a definition of public info is probably going to be found quite repugnant in Canadian Courts.

26: 50 Yes, I distrust Signal because they've done nothing to remove the phone number requirement. If Session, a fork of Signal, can do the same stuff without a phone number then I don't understand what Signal's problem is.

That irs facial scan tool was creepy af. It did all sorts of imagery and technical flashes. It showed my camera view as a weird inverted image while changing colors.
