would you pay 120 bux over the 2700x for the 9900k? just for 15%-20% more? well this is just time spy and this is at stock. if this thing will get 1-200 mghz max all core clock over the current cpus (which some rumors are saying) then the 9900k will be way more than 15-20% higher perf. is it worth it? not for most people. but if you are spending 700+ on gpu why not spend 120 more for the cpu. even if you are spending 4-500 for a gpu and you do streaming\productivity but still want no compromises high refresh then that extra 120 is worth it as well. i mean if you are spending 1300+ on a system, another 120 isnt that much. ill say it again, not for everybody

Time stamp: 26: 00 We just had all these laptops come out with the latest Intel chips along with 10 series Nvidia GPU's for alll the OEM's, GREAT Now there will be a whole year and a Half of Bestbuy and other local PC stores selling old laptops with what is about to be the OLd 10 series GPU's, Even tho there is going to be an 11 or 20 sreies soon. This is how it always goes. NEW HARDWARE comes out and then we have to wait 1. 5 years for stores to sell all the old stock, Before the new is available. SMH.

Time stamp: 35: 40 This too me is what sucks, I remember a Time when Crossfire and SLI mattered and was Relevant. Now it sucks from AMD to Nvidia. It was Nice when U could buy a 5770 because that's what your budget allowed for at the time and then a Few Months later U could buy another and Crossfire it for a good 50% to 70% improvement depending on the game. It will never be that way again.

On the quick comments about the Third Gpu competitor Intel. With Kaby Lake G actually being a real thing, I do wonder if AMD has any part in those rumors/plans. Either licensing patents to intel or something like providing Vega cores and intel does the rest type of thing.

In my local best buy the Ibuy power OC are HORRIBLE upgrade wise they are usually in a mid or full tower but it using mini it motherboard with only 1 pcie 16 slot and only 2 Dimm slots and the PSU is pathetic just BARELY enough for the build and this rig was over $1000

Its really weird. Sometimes The Full Nerd eps. lasts, hummm, lets round to 1 hour. But feels like 2 hours. Or lasts 5, 10, 20 mins more and feels like just 30 minutes. : p Still. They are awesome. And now for the next one. see you around!

The most frustrating thing about laptops is that there is no standardization of the placement of the die of the gpu's from generation to generation making laptops disposable.

SSDs are going to get a lot cheaper by Christmas b/c china is getting into the game. If you go listen to the earnings calls of micron and sk hynux, you'll understand.

There's been a need for better GPU's for years now. It's called 4K. I run the highest of end hardware and it continues to not drive 4K-60 properly.
