I bought a blade 15 144hz fhd 1070max-q 512gb at launch. Awesome raw power, good chassis and form factor but horrible display quality. Sad to say I had to return mine to Razer as it had excessive backlight bleed for a panel replacement. On return, it still had horrible bleed (i never noticed any with MacBooks or Acer ultrabooks, I use both OS) and ended up selling after 4 months. Lastly, the power brick is heavy and humongous so beware if you are planning to travel with this.

been thinking of getting either xps or the blade and I'm slightly convinced by this video that the blade gives you the best of both worlds. I mean you got the design (which is definitely more cool looking compare to xps) and also you got the power. I will use the laptop for creative stuff can you please help me to choose.

I've seen other reviews and benchmarks that actually have the Razer Blade 15 with the 1060 MaxQ and same specs benchmarks higher and faster than the 1070. I believe the explanation was that 1060 at a slightly lower voltage ran cooler temperatures allowing for a slightly higher benchmark.

Razer needs to make their laptops reliable. They seem to be awesome out of the box but your mileage may vary and when it breaks, good luck cause they don't stand behind their product like Dell and Lenovo. That's $3k you are gambling with.

1070 Max Q? In their website only 1060 for the base, none for 1070.
Ok, this one is 2018 version (144Hz) and not the base, the 2019 version is only 1060 (60Hz.
