I had the Radeon Software installed on my system, and it caused a weird issue. XFX Radeon 5700 on Asus Crosshair VII Hero (non wifi. I was eventually getting a -d3- code readout on my motherboard, rather than the -AA- (-AA- means everything is ok. I uninstalled the Radeon Software because the update wouldn't go through. So I figured I would install the updated version manually. Ended up not being able to install the latest version because it would bluescreen and restart. So I figured I wouldn't install the software. Then I started getting random blue screens with the error code -WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR- Luckily I have a spare drive that I can use to backup some things, because I have tried numerous -fixes- but to no avail. I believe a wipe and reinstall is the only option at this point, because I do not have any Restore Points (like a n00b. Oh well, most of my important files are already on a second drive already, I just need to grab a few game files, and I'm ready to go.

Please add a tutorial about stopping the cancerous windows update from reinstalling older drivers whenever it sees fit. WU, on both W10 and 11, and especially on laptops, more often than not rolls back the drivers to the version it has in the Microsoft Update Catalog. On AMD APUs it happenes so fast that at the next reboot you have your older driver reinstalled.
