I have to say this now while I am thinking about it (haven't finished the video yet. On the images that are available free (like this one in Pexels) if you would give us a name, or other strong hint on how to find that actual photo, we can watch the video and then go back and work along with you in the exact same photo, taking the exact same steps to consolidate what we have learned. (I understand that you can't share photos that were taken by professional photographers, but I do appreciate their contribution to the lessons as well)
This school bus picture was easy to find but some of the pretty landscape pictures are hard because there's no way to choose the name, and landscape with river brings up roughly a million choices: -)
Just a thought, and many thanks! Back to the video!

Unmesh Dinda, I wanted to add a vignette, which is easy to do in Lightroom. I'm reasonably familiar with Lightroom, but now with signing up for the Adobe CC Photography Plan, I'm trying to learn Photoshop & thought that while in Ps, I'd try to add it there. I thought this is a great video tutorial, well explained in detail. I loved how you explained what can be done with a vignette by using Blend-if - brilliant! Thanks too, for the Actions, but as you suggested, I'll learn to do it from scratch.

My Select ->Modify -> Contract also doesn't work in PS6. However, here is a workaround:
Make the Solid Fill Layer Mask as described, then, Select ->Select All ->Borders (set 1px) - Select -> Inverse -> Select ->Modify ->Contract (350px as described in the video. No Apply Effect at Canvas Bounds is available in PS6. However, you do get the border as described in the video. Hope this helps someone.

Hi Unmesh, I am watching your video tutorials everyday and learning a lot. I am using CS5 but in my photoshop when I select - modify, the contract option is grayed out and can't use for some reason. Do you know why?

Thanks for your tutorials. My work has benefitted a great deal from them. Please, I would appreciate it if you could give another link for the actions as this old link you've put up doesn't seem to work.

No need of this. just guys using cc. go to filter /camera raw/ go to fx select post crop vignetting and decrease it. and adjust it as u want. this is the simplest way.
