I am trying again with no luck once I put my second image up I clicked command c then clicked the option and clicked on the layer mask then clicked command V it didn't copy I tried several times now again I'm running 2019 this video is 2017 so I have no clue. I'm running a brand new Mac so it isn't on my end it could be a human error but I'm not that dumb so got to be the 2 years.

My goal in life is to be half as good as you. You are the master. So many times I try to just copy what it purports do, and still struggle with managing layers, masks, and the small things one cant take for granted. Thanks for taking the time to do these.

The pattern, or image, I am trying to paste into the mask is in colour. When I paste it, it reverts to black and white? Any ideas why?

Good presenter and good production. Just slow down a bit and maybe make the cursor a little bigger so it's easier to see.
