In the past I ve talked about free PDF viewers like Foxit and Sumatra PDF Reader. For editing PDF files, many have asked what are the best free options to edit PDF s. While there is no free editor with the full feature set of a paid program like Adobe Acrobat Pro, the 5 PDF editors I show you in this video just might be all that you need to edit your PDF files for free. I tried the free route, really resisted paying, but it just didn't work well long-run. If you work with PDF all the time, invest in a paid package. I use PDF-Element by Wondershare. It costs 129 for the 'perpetual' license. I paid less years ago but they have hit me with irritating upgrade fees since then. t is lightening-fast as the software resides on my computer. It is not perfect, there are probably packages available for purchase that are better. BTW, I tried Adobe and they want and ;it seemed painfully slow compared to PDF-Element.

I'm not interested in anything online, paid, or with a watermark.
I already have Inkscape. so that's a good option for me.
What about LibreOffice? I know it can open and save documents as PDFs, but I don't know much about its ability to actually edit PDFs.

While there is no free PDF editor with the entire feature set of Adobe Acrobat Pro, hopefully you find that those mentioned just might have the tool or tools that you need... Thanks for watching :)

Unless you've been stranded in some remote jungle, you know using an online program is beyond foolish and inviting massive trouble. I'm surprised Brett included these here....
