ownload Group Policy Enabler for Windows 10 The good news is that Windows 10 Home Edition includes Group Policy feature on default installation but this feature is disabled by default. You just have to enable the feature to bring back gpedit.msc. The first step is to download the following file. GPEdit Enabler for Windows 10 Home Edition (386 bytes, 737 hits) This is simply a batch file which will install the missing features in Windows 10 Home including group policy. Installing gpedit.msc correctly Let s go through the process step by step so that even the novice users can follow the steps and enable group policy editor on their systems. Download Group Policy Enabler from above link. Right-click gpedit-enabler.bat and select Run as Administrator gpedit enabler run as administrator This will start the installation process. The process will take a few minutes to install group policy features. At the end, simple press any key to close the command prompt window. installing group policy editor in windows 10 Now go to Run > gpedit.msc. This should open group policy editor. Running gpedit in Windows 10 Home Although a restart is not required, but you may restart the computer if it s not working for your right away. After the above simple steps, you should have a working group policy editor in Windows 10 Home. Please note that we are not using any third-party software for enabling the group policy. In this method, we are using the built-in Windows packages installation for installing gpedit.msc. So this method should be 100% safe and should work in all conditions. Two more methods for enabling gpedit.msc in Windows 10 Home: Enable Group Policy Editor in Windows Home using third party script Policy Plus the best alternative to Windows Group Policy Editor In case of any confusion, you are always welcome to discuss by commenting below. This video was in my Youtube recommended page... Windows-10 is the best system Microsoft has ever fielded (everybody else would still be ashamed to field it). While it is still slow and lackluster, at least system updates are somewhat faster. Enjoy being data-mined to death, a truly unique feature (now being done to all Windows back to Win-7). To do anything, instead needing 4-times the ram of any other modern system, it only needs 3-times the ram. And you can t add more ram past a certain point. Usually less than you d like. Still the worst security in World History. Windows Security, while better than nothing, would be discarded in any competing system. The CEO of Microsoft has now said (twice) in public, that Windows will no longer be the company s front burner product. Windows is now about 45% of the worldwide OS Market. And is no longer dominant. Microsoft is moving on to server and big-data work (remember what I said about data mining user systems). The remaining best feature of Windows... is that it still responds to a Shutdown command properly. There are many ways to walk away from Windows, and do better. Keep your hardware. Load up one of 5-UNIX systems. Or one of 17-Linux s. All of which are built to install upon most Wintel hardware. Erase the drive, install your alternate system, and never look back. Or you can buy alternative hardware with alternative OS already loaded. Try System76, or purchase a Macintosh. The only modern system, that is not UNIX,... is Windows. Leave Windows, that s the best Windows feature, because these days, you can.

here's a feature.... This is tricky to find - So true!! Windows 10 lost everything that was intuitive and useful about Windows. Microsoft Word has had SaveAs PDF (aka print to PDF) for a long time - at least since Word 2010 - NOT new because of Windows 10. oh but Windows has Print to PDF and it's ubiquitous, any application can use it if it doesn't natively support PDF... oh wow!! Such a disruptive innovation! Yet... there's been FREE PDF printer drivers since the late 90's which added this feature to Windows XP... finely after 15 years Microsoft adds it (shhh.... to replace Microsoft's knock off XPS - which was DOA and never compatible with anything but Windows, and even then not 100% compatible from version to version of Windows. Sticky Notes... use real sticky notes (which you can easily update and even put them in your pocket and take with you) .. or an open NotePad/word/excel document... why need a new application?? Unlike Sticky Notes a notepad/excel/word document can be minimized to the Taskbar and brought up quickly or moved behind other windows... the sticky note is open or it is closed - no minimize option. Again... Why?? Windows Sonic sound??? Again... why? nearly all gaming headphones support virtual surround sound... and have done so ooh... since Windows XP (plus they are better at it) DLNA media streaming - another useless feature which works with a limited set of devices (mostly Microsoft's). Don't expect DLNA to exist in future versions of Windows. Just like the Windows Phone... waste of money.

1. Yes. I've used it once weekly for every version of windows since 98' ( obviously I skipped the turds of Millenmium Edition and vista) 2. Nope...never needed to, never will 3. DUMB home..not now...not EVER. 4. 3:04 not bad..but I'd rather just set a digital alarm within Windows and type a short phrase or sentence what the alarm is about. 5. quick Assist, never heard of that until now. I might try it later. I've been using Team Viewer and it's been solid so far. 6. Windows Sonic= no thanks. I use a usb external DAC ( may flower electronics). Nothing is screwing this up...NOTHING. so nope. 7. 5:08. I use this every single minute I'm awake using my PC, and I couldn't agree more. My eyes are under soooo much LESS strain using a PC since I started using this. 8. 6:08. nice to know but I do everything on my desktop including watching movies I have locally stored, unless I'm having to use another portal device to troubleshoot problems on my desktop, or I m on the go and use my Ubuntu mate laptop. 9. 6:30. NO thanks. It's just as slow as the latest Dragon Naturally Speaking crap and screws up things I say ( and I pronounce things more slowly, loudly and clearly when I've tried using this feature in the recent past). I'd rather keep touch typing. 10. I use this rarely as I rarely have need for it, but nice that it is still there. Thanks for the vid.

You should be talking about WINDOWS 10 UPDATE 1809 and how it will make a DOOR-STOP out of your computer, or how about the BUG that pops up in 1803, or 1703, or 1709 that says your drive is running out of space, which in reality is that 500 mb drive that Microsoft forgot to remove in the update. To resolve that, you have to open a command prompt, run DISK PART, find the offending drive, and remove it, but not to mention all the bugs in Windows 10 Updates. Technically, WHAT IS A VIRUS ? A virus is a program designed to destroy your computer. So when a Windows Update comes to your computer, and you get stuck with the BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death), or any such thing, THIS WAS BECAUSE Microsoft is updating your computer, with what I call the MICROSOFT VIRUS, a Windows Update that destroys your Operating System. LOTS OF BUGS in Windows Update. If you have to hire a tech to fix your problem, Microsoft should be held RESPONSIBLE, so contact Microsoft Headquarters, to find out where you can send the BILL TO, so they can REFUND YOU THE MONEY you had to spend on hiring a tech to fix MICROSOFT'S OPERATING SYSTEM, also known as WINDOWS UPDATE. Windows 10 is worse that Windows Vista EVER WAS!!!

how to arrange the folder shortcuts on the start menu to the other side. I want my task bar on top, but then the settings and explorer shortcuts are way down on the bottom of the drop down window, and there is so much empty space between the start menu button and those shortcuts. I want them arranged closer to the top, along with the task bar. This should happen automatically by the way, but windows is trash and doesn't consider such basic convenience. Any small change you want to make is layer up on layer upon layer. I'll say this, anyone who denies windows is the buttuggliest and messiest os to get around there is a liar!

I would simply like the STANDARD features to work properly - my PC has been screwed up ever since update 1803. I posted about this on Facebook and they responded immediately by asking me to message them with my problem, which I did equally promptly. Over SIX MONTHS LATER I have still not had a reply - Great customer service Microsoft, that and your so-called 'Help' system are absolutely useless and not fit for purpose. P.S. I also object to not being informed or given a choice of when or if I want to implement any particular update ( as Windows 7 used to do ). It is ALWAYS a 'fait-accompli'.

I have to say the videos you had posted on YouTube are very informative and extremely helpful I had recently had a running with a hacker that was trying to scan me and if I had no knowledge of being computer literate I would have probably been a victim of identity theft to make a long story short he wasn't able to get to my files and infect my computer with a virus or worse you had provided a very helpful tip on using the administrator Command Prompt that I was able to use to check weather my system has been tampered with I appreciate the information you had provided on this video

How is the ability to revert back to windows 7 not on the list? 0:38 If you forgot where to find it.... This is why Win10 sucks. No one can find anything anymore and have now resorted to the idea of DOS (AKA typing in things) to get basic stuff done. The point of a GUI was so that you didn't have to remember the names of everything. It shouldn't be long before we have to go to the command prompt to type cleanmgr as the only way to get to Disk Cleanup. Sticky Notes. Formerly called Notepad. That speech to text thing didn't work so well.
