+TechGumbo Awesome, as always... but... I for one like to copy on a .rtf file all Description from your videos, in order to do my own research whenever I feel like doing, regardless if the video was taken out, or if the whole YT is no longer working (knock on wood... ;); but this is now IMPOSSIBLE due to this YT horrifeature , in which ALL URLs are half-cut i.e., freaking useless. But that's not all. Because if Google/ Analphabet can do something nasty, they'll do it all the way. Now comes the surprise: if one decides to right-click any of those links below, in a vain attempt to copy them, they will result in a huge, 5-line-links-from-Hell, rendering my notation efforts useless for all Eternity... ;( Please, oh, almighty TechGumbo, send down a solution to our misery... ;) Cheers!

Except of country flags and maybe google translate (I'm not using this) there is only crap. Stylish or other CSS addons makes the browser slower, and if you use a high resolution, you get almost pixelated designs only. Instead of those adblockers, use uBlock, it's the best adblocker. The google crap-addon is like a smartphone in your browser, just save a favourite with the google page and you don't have to install another addon. TinEye - google has this reverse picture search function, so why should i install one more crappy addon for this? And the most of the Ecosia search results are commercially oriented - it's not the same like google.

Momentum is a truly beautiful add-on ! Suddenly discovered it and using it since. Firefox Quantum is blazing in all my four machines ! The devs at Mozilla have developed an entire new language called Rust for rewriting the CSS and man it is amazing ! I think many of the add-ons will not be required in the near or far future. For example, intrusive add-blocking is a built-in feature now. I am really excited about the direction Firefox has taken with this release. I hope that other browsers will catch up soon. Thanks for the video! I use many of the mentioned extensions regularly.

Honey for Firefox cannot be used. Despite the Firefox add-ons manager saying Honey is enabled, there is no H button anywhere in Firefox it's not on the task bar it's not in the quick-launch bar, it's not in the start menu, it's not by the address/search bar, even typing it into the search for your computer in the start menu doesn't show it. The honey extension it simply doesn't exist to use in Firefox. I removed the add-on from Firefox because no one wants to explain how to get the H to show up somewhere in Firefox.

Boy do I wish I could find an add-on to move the TabsBar down below the address bar so that it abuts the main view window. I despise Tabs at screen top. Up until FFv57 an add-on allowed this. That add-on is not v57 compatible. Ergo, Tabs at top for me. (I admittedly turned on the Menu Bar, which helps a bit.) FF has been my browser of choice since it launched. Now, I just might jump ship over the Tabs issue. (I've never cared for Chrome in the least.)

Thanks for that! I think I will have to re-listen/watch it about 10 more times and take handwritten notes to fully absorb all the ways Firefox can help me maintain control of my privacy and enjoy a less intrusive internet experience! At least I only had to pause and re-wind once. That was to see the information provided when using one of the add ons which tells you the location of the website one is viewing, something I've often wondered about.

FF is my favorite. Let me share some cool Add-Ons I use. Print Edit We if you care about trees. about:addons-memory - If you want to know how particular add-ons slowdown your FF it displays memory usage statistics about their add-ons. After that you may say buy-buy to many add-ons. :) Colorful Tabs -colors every tab in a different color and makes them easy to distinguish while beautifying the overall appeal of the interface.

They are great just as many others you can use from the add-ons page, but I - and as far as I know many others - badly miss one that has been taken off some year (or more?) ago: Coolpreviews. That was a very useful little thing and you can not find nor an alternative to it neither something else that someway similar to it. Why they do not bring it back? I'm pretty sure that was a very popular extension.
