Hey, I got it that the VLC media player is Good, but the KMplayer is the best of the world. I've been using it for over 15 years, and it's really good. The KMplayer allows you much more freedom of setting up your own key functions, the initial size of the player's window etc., and it can almost play all types of videos. But I've also downloaded the VLC media player on your recommendation. I needed another video player to play two videos at the same time. This reminds me of a problem almost all video players have: they don't allow to open more than one window. If they did, I would be able to play as many movies as possible at the same time using just one movie player, and I didn't have to download the VLC media player. It's sad that I can only play one movie at a time with the KMplayer, which is the best movie player in the world so far. Oh, by the way, the KMplayer version I have is from many years ago (it's the 2008 version). The new versions are not as good.

We have had issues with our VLC media player not recognizing the files since switching to Windows 10, I know VLC is the issue because my DH's HP and my Toshiba PC neither one will play DVD's any longer. Can you tell me how to get it working, or should I switch to Pot player or another player instead? My main issue with switching is that my DH is going blind and already knows how to operate his VLC player, so I'd hate to install a different player on his and him have to try to relearn where everything is at.

I used to use this software called S-Player, which did an amazing job automatically searching for and displaying accurate subtitles every time I started a movie or show. And the best part is, the downloaded file didn't even crowd the folder consisting of the media; it probably got saved in some remote folder somewhere (never bothered to search). Unfortunately, it seems like they've ended support for it. I'm looking for a good media player that does the same thing.

This is the features that i am looking for a media player: 1. Video preview. You can see the video while you're mouse are hovering above the seek bar. Just like youtube. 2. Auto subtitle download. 3. Supports all media without downloading additional external codex. 4. Lightweight. You're watching a video NOT editing a video. Some players goes out-of-sync with the sound. These are the list for the moment that i'm looking for a media player.

Guys try to play HDR on VLC , go to the option/Adjust & Effect/Video Effect / Image Adjust. Now you have to correct the color, and it work perfect . My Basic Color Adjustment is set as the ffl ,: Hue 55, brightness 60, contrast 80-85 , Saturation 70-75 , Gama 1 bar. . Then make sure that your display is set to the brighter back light and in good contrast to get the HDR Effect .

I downloaded Pot Player twice, in tries to install and it doesn't complete. It continues to close again and again, everytime I relaunch. I have Windows 10 (64 Bit), the website doesn't show Widows 10 as a option...SOoOOOo I am guessing its just not compatible for my device? Such a great player yet it can't be used on new deices? -_- What am I missing?

I have used VLC for a number of years but switched over to PotPlayer not too long ago and have seen a noticeable improvement not only in the video presentation itself but no buffering at all and the fact that it already uses a built-in Codec for some films that require this. I highly recommend PotPlayer to anyone interested.

personally i also like players that have the mirror input option (or horizontal flip ) if you have films that you know very well Because of the way your eyes/brain scan an image In mirror mode you often notice some other details. Sometimes fun to use (lots of players have the option but use mostly gom player for that

Potplayer is the best one. It has better skins then what vlc has to offer and it never lets me down. I can open multiple video files at once (unlike vlc that automatically changes the video when selecting something else). Vlc was great until i had issues playing a movie and it kept on stuttering until I used pot player.
