Hey Jeff, thanks for this time we video. I-ll be 55 years old in less than two months, are used to be a trainer, are used to teach on sports supplementation, did health coaching and life coaching, but I have scoliosis so I have lost a lot of muscle. I still look great for my age, people can-t believe I-m 55, but it ticks me off that I can-t lift heavy anymore. I will definitely be using these techniques.

Great stuff. Stuck in the house with a set of 40 and 45lbers. Between some compound moments (squats/overheard press; bent over rows/straight leg deadlifts; bench/flies) and the P90X Plyo workout, I've actually been getting is some good workouts. Will definitely add some of these.
Stay safe everyone, hopefully the gyms will open up again soon.

I am in NGA Pro bodybuilder. I only recently discovered these videos. Don-t know where I-ve been.
This one in particular is excellent for those who are stuck at home with very limited equipment. The techniques described are perfect for making gains even with a pair of 30s, or even less. Good job Jeff.

Perfect pushup product has been great since lockdown start. That and switching to timed sets. Now, i just do pushups for 1 minute. No pausing at top or bottom, just 1 minute of constant slow steady pushup motion with perfect form, not sure how many reps. Working up to 2 minutes.

Great info! I'm a personal trainer ( certified ) and I see way too many people use momentum on the concentric and eccentric phase! Like you said a 30 lb dumbbell becomes very heavy if the weight is controlled like you demonstrated! Thanks for the great video!

I hate to admit it, but you're a top tier Fitness guru. Very smart ways to incorporate light dumbbells. People although should get adjustable dumbbells or a bar if they are focused to increase muscle mass. Never the less this is great info in a pinch!

Could you use these techniques only and not the barbell ever and still gain muscles at the same rate? I'm pretty new to this and have no real way to get a barbell the fit in my place, and there's no gym nearby me whatsoever.

i firmly believe you need those dumbbells a bench and some rubber bands and no gym membership and still get a full tough workout. its all I and it great what I would recommend though is a set of adjustable dumbbells 5-60 lbs

Did this workout today for the first time and it was tough but also pretty awesome. Muscles were definitely feeling it. Great workout especially for right now when being able to find heavier dumbbells is a challenge.
