Get my Neck and Trap Training Guide Here: Watch my shoulder science explained video: CHECK OUT MY OTHER TRAINING PROGRAMS Check out my May Favourites Gym Playlist Paulo Henrique Martins de Melo Ramos: Jeff, i was training my neck at my local gym and a trainer told me not to do it. He said a huge neck is a genetic trait and only a wrestler or MMA guy would need to do it. I told him I was trying the best I could since I was told once that being an ectomorph like I am, I wouldn't get so much of a bodybuiding phisique. He tried to argue and I felt awkward. I only get into a gym in a state of focus and self-discipline. I don't ask for help much of my time, though, I offer when asked. I once have an injury at my forearm during a bb curl and those same professionals didn't notice repeated movements when I was less instructed and curlying heavy loads with a overcompensated movement of my wrist. :/ I really want to train my neck

Hello Jeff. I would be very glad if you could give me a help in this doubt that I have about shrugs. What is the correct positicon of your head when we are doing shrugs? Chin up or chin down? I used to do shrugs with my head in a neutral position and looking forward, however i have been seeing people telling that the chin should be down because when it is up it can compress your spine. In other and i have been seeing people teeling to keep your head straight, otherwise you can damage your discs. I have tried this at the gym and when i put my chin down a don't feel that pressure in my crevical spine. Could you give me a help to figure this out? What is the best form to do it? Thanks in advance m8; )

I'm in a weird boat. I'm 35 and my traps look closer to those Mr. Olympians than they do yours. But I have never worked out a day in my life. I was getting jelly rolls and decided 3 weeks ago to do push-ups to try and fight the Santa Claus bod. My traps have doubled in size it seems since only three weeks ago. But my biceps are none existant. Think of an anorexic female. That's about the size of my biceps. I did walk on my hands a lot 20 years ago as a teen. Other than that, I play world of Warcraft and eat kinda shitty. Don't do any physical activity other than the push ups I just started.

For an easy at home neck workout that works here you go. 3 sets of 25 reps, all lying on your backSet 1) bring your ear to your shoulder, then to the opposite shoulder, that is one repSet 2) bring your chin to you chestSet 3)twist your head(ear to ground)If you do this 5 minute workout everyday for a week you can switch to one set of 50 reps then just make it harder as you go

A great way I use to replace the back and side exercises. Instead of using Weighted plates and having to do them at gym (where you look like a weirdo) I use heavy bands, and cause they use tension strength you dont need gravity to assist you (lying down etc) and you have to do is stand or sit and attach a band to a wall or post and use that instead.

Wrestled for many years and can confirm the neck bridges have given me an abnormally fat ass neck. I used actually not like it, but now that the rest of my body has gotten size to match due to weightlifting, it's not disproportionate anymore lol but i do still have to have custom dress shirts to button the top button for say a tie/bowtie

Come out to the bush with me. Starting in March felling trees, April and May cutting them into lengths, June and July carrying them on shoulders and by hand to trailer, then a month splitting by hand 30 cord everyday for 7 to 8 hours. If you make it I guarantee you will make some gains free of charge. No books required.

Ive worked these muscles for about 2 years now, and i noticed that my upper traps grow much faster than the lower. Since im only 14, and my traps are about the size of a bodybuilders, i constantly get asked if im on steroids, which can get annoying. Im not sure if having my size upper traps for my age is healthy though

I've been training for like 5 years in total, but made a pause last year, and now I'm back in gym and I'm always open minded for knowledge about human body, and I'm amazes how you put so much information in relatively short videos. It shows you're educated and you do your research well.
