A guided morning stretch routine that you can use as a cool down, or daily yoga flow! sport: i love maddie, but this video is not it. I feel like she should include instruction for protecting the knees (like not letting the knee pass the ankle in lunge positions, and protecting the knee with some cushioning when it's used as a pivoting base. I do really like her stretching videos, but I feel concerned seeing some of the bad form in this one. If for some reason you're reading the comments before doing this video, have a folded blanket, or something similar, close by to cushion your knee in some of the lunging positions.

Oh thank you Maddie! These stretches are amazing. I don't think that Im so unflexibel. Its a shame. These 30 minutes were the most painful minutes in a long time for me. But it was a good pain. Especially my hamstrings and hips are so unflexibel. I can remember that I was able to do splits when I was younger. I did ballet but stopped at the age of 9 and never stretch again. Now I plan to do these stretch routine every morning and become hopefully more flexibel.

Yoga is extremely hard, though girls have an easier time than guys with it.
It's fine to do some sun salutations in the morning, but be extremely careful if you go into some more difficult poses.
I am a beginner Yogi and I go super slow with the poses, and never try to push past the range of what feels OK.
People often understate how TIGHT they are (especially athletes, and you can really pull a muscle thinking something is easy.

Hi Maddie thank you for sharing this routine! i need to say that i personally enjoy the yoga routines more where you take your time in each pose and really focus on your breathing. But i don't really have lots experience yet so maybe it's just that yoga flow is a bit faster. Anyways i would love to see another yoga routine from you

A little late comes my comment but I loved this stretching routine, it is much more effective than many others available on youtube. I would love if you could do one stretching routine per day of the week, focusing on different muscle groups! Thanks for your videos!

This has been helping me so much in the mornings - Ive been doing roughly this routine and at the beginning (almost 2 months ago) I couldnt properly do bridges. Now I can hold it for 10-15 seconds without worry and my flexibility is growwwinng. Thank you!

Hi! Do you have a stretching routine that targets the back and mainly lower back? I think the lower back takes most of the damage throughout the day and I was wondering if you have something to relieve that tension/pain after a long day. Thank you!

After spending two hours by a desk with my computer in the morning, this was the absolute perfect saviour for a pick me up, to get on a nice stretch and also to help with getting in some mindful breathing. Thanks Maddie: ')
