Periodization: The Perfect Muscle-Building Formula - Part 3 Michael: Hey man. Just a question. I was living abroad and suffered a stomach infection and other health issues that resulted in my appetite taking a serious hit. This was 8 months ago and I have been trying ramp up my appetite by eating regularly again. Still to this day I never feel hunger and consuming sufficient complex calories has been impossible.
Would you have any advice around this? I have thought about just eating simple carbs and protein sources such as chocolate, bread and protein shakes to get sufficient calories regularly. Anything like meat, peanuts, potatoes etc simply sit in my stomach throughout the day.

6: 30 What about compound movement? For example: squat 3-10 and leg extension 3-12 so, as squat hit quads, does that mean the total sets are 6?
