The overhead press is by far the best all-around exercise for building massive shoulders. Not only that, but it does a great deal for building the upper chest, putting mass on the triceps, and increasing your bench press strength. The overhead press, like most of the main lifts, doesn-t just stimulate the obvious muscle groups (i. e. the shoulders, upper chest, and triceps, however. It also helps strengthen the lats through heavy eccentric loading, engages the legs by using them as stabilizers, and, of course, increases core strength. This movement, although not the most complicated, is a bit more complex than the bench press. In this video you-ll learn the perfect overhead press technique for rounder shoulders

I commented and asked for this video couple of weeks ago, cant thank enough man! Looking forward to putting it to practice. You should also do one -scinetifically proven- for triceps and legs and that covers everything pretty much, lots of training and work out material there for the next couple of months

The first time doing these, thought it would be easier to do heavy weight, first attempt I used 140 lbs. The second I got it off the rack, whole thing wobble out of my hands and everything came crashing down. Needless to say, ive learned my lesson.

I was doing seated overhead press. Then on my 3rd set Something pushed out in my abdominal area and it was a sharp pain for 3 days. So yeah I learned my lesson. Tighten your core - wish I saw this before before it happened

Good advice. I needed this video! I had been unstable doing standing OHP, so have chickened out and was doing all of them seated. This encouraged me to work on my form and give standing OHP another go.

Someone pls reply, why do we need to lockout at the top? Isn't that increasing the stress on the elbow joints? As a bodybuilder focus, I guess most people will believe to not locking out.

Love your videos. What apps are you using to create the videos? I like the way you bring in the muscle pictures and how you highlight in green when ok and red when not ok. Thanks.

Appreciate the time taken to break down this exercise in all its detail, to help us understand the proper form and execute the movement safely. I-ll give this a try soon!

The video is very helpful compare to many others. I would like to see something about how to fill the space between collar bone and coupons. Slightly above the upper chest.
