I started out with curls using the traditional broken wrist curl, and it was fine. Not having access to a gym at the moment; hence, no cable machine, I am doing my entire workout at home using my PowerBlock dumbbells (very successfully too I might add.
However, I have recently switched to preacher curls, and not being used to them I had to reduce the weight down to 25 lbs per dumbbell as initially it was a bit painful stretching my tendons like that. However, I started getting used to that stretch and after increasing my weight to 30 lbs per dumbbell I finally overcame that tendon stretching discomfort and have subsequently increased the weight again to 35 lbs per dumbbell. I can see myself increasing this weight again to 40 lbs very soon too (everything with me is about avoiding pain LOL. I find that the preacher curl targets the biceps like I have never targeted them before; however, this video DEFINITELY gives me plenty of options to experiment with other techniques that look very promising.

Thanks for pointing that out. I can't specify enough how good/important eccentric training is. I always have people in the gym ask me why my reps are so slow instead of just throwing weight around. I do have some concern with the idea of the broken wrist curl. That seems like it might lead to some long term problems in the wrist with the joint being compressed under strain like that. Besides it's not like people don't need more forearm work as well.

Alain I Have a Problem with Eccentric Training I think Eccentric Training leads to Great Amount of soreness which increases the recovery time and i am not able to do the programme in your Book because of this i mean you have set a Frequency of 3 days per week full body if i introduce Eccentric Training in it i feel sore for 4-5 days and thats why i think Eccentric Training isn't that better for Full body workouts

You were doing a demonstration with the rope and cable machine curl but it wasn-t one of your five that you talked about. Can you talk more about that? Thank you, and thank you for your videos, they are excellent!

Dude the first dudes biceps are better than the 2nd dude. I mean the rest of his body is pretty shitty but his bis are good. You should have switched the two characters in this video.

Thanks for helping me by growing day by day.
I would like to ask that doing biceps and triceps on same day will have better results or doing them on alternate days?

I'd like to know your take on dealing with tendinitis? I usually get it in my right elbow. Rest is the best thing for it, but is there anything that I can to do prevent it?

Does our elbow placement matter? I see people placing their elbows right beside their bodies while some places them a bit more forward as shown in the video
