I've always thought that creatine's effect on our strength probably had a huge part in human evolution. Consitent access to dietary creatine over generations would have given us a leg up over other species. Now we're learning about all the other benficial effects on our physiology and it's mind blowing.

One thing to add for older men. creatine ups the level of DHT. DHT in turn is directly linked to enlargement of the prostate. Not all men or enough to be called common place, but something to be aware of if you already have prostate issues.

I'm a female and only take 5grams a day. I've noticed increased muscle recovery. However I'm unsure if it's resulting in the weight gain? I gained 10 pounds
