Thanks for posting these great ideas for home workouts,
I am a personal trainer who has worked in a commercial gym setting for all of my 26-year career and so I was really at a loss as to how to adapt to doing workouts at home. For my clients and for myself. -
I miss the gym - I am going thru withdrawal- but I am feeling hopeful because I actually have been feeling sore after afterward - which is not easy for a 60-year-old body that has been training nonstop since 1978!
You are really creative! I come out to Phoenix once a year and would love to do a training session with you, Thank you for your service. And I love your dogs!

One issue I have, especially when I try to keep my elbows really tight into my sides is elbow pain. Keeping the path fairly linear is where things hurt the most, changing the angle to just slightly across my chest (not a hammer curl) seems to help. But doing so tends to make it a little difficult to keep the elbow position fixed and keep the shoulder recruitment to a minimum. Any thoughts on how to keep the shoulder out of it and keep the tension on the bicep but use a less strict weight path?

I want to be part of the 1%. I scrounged up some dumbbells and a tilt bench and turned my garage into my gym. With the help of some of your techniques, some determination, lots of prayer, I have lost 14 pounds since my gym closed 3 months ago. It reopens Monday. I will be 60 in October and trying to get down to my highschool grad weight of 235. I am in the 320 neighbourhood right now. I started 2020 at 357. Let's get after it! Thanks again.

I've had a little home gym for 10 years that I didn't use because I had a membership to a gym. I have a pair of adjustable dumbbells, a pull up bar, bench, an e-z curl bar with weights. Two weeks back, I was about to post them on OfferUp, Craigslist and LetGo. Since then I am just glad that I never got around to selling them. They have been a good de-stresser when I feel like getting a sense of normalcy in my life.

Yo I know you made a tricep video using dumbells, but could you make one with lighter weights? I only have 10lb dumbells at home and I want to do more techniques where the movement is more important than the weight.

That's really the point though right? You can be watching Netflix or you can be watching a little less Netflix and getting some good workouts in. You either have goals or you don't. The quarantine won't stop you.

I started doing the curls you suggested a few videos ago about not using full range of motion. Wow. My biceps have never hurt that bad. They were so sore for like three days. Also did the 20-25 reps. Amazing.

Ryan, your videos are fantasttic. I have medial epicondilosis after a car accident and a regular grip is painful, please could you recommend some Hammer grip bicep exersizes as I find these less painful. Thanks
