BEST Leg Exercise For Growth (YOU NEED THIS) John: The vids are better than the workout app he put out. The app is confusing and the text portion is missing exercises that the vids (of the app) mention. Example:
-The Unfortunate #15 -ascending and descending drop set w/ mechanical drop-: -
3 sets (1 set = ascending + descending)-
15 reps (on the drops you-re not going to get 15)-
Does that make any sense, also Whats missing? The drag curls mentioned in the vid portion.
Its also just doing a ton of light weight and doing a shit ton of exercises, I used to work out like that, I dont get much out of it. Doing 80 reps without stopping feels like cardio or is at least a finisher. Seems like he just threw it out there. I was already doing a program like that from my own head. At some point you have to increase volume not just do burn outs every day. Also, most of us do not have the luxury of being on HRT. Save your money, I wish I had.

Every now and then I hit a half mile lunge walk. I did this a lot when I was training up for long rucks. So far, my best time is 25: 21 going through my street which is uphill and downhill. I alternate between straight lunging with every step and taking a standing pause at the top of each step. I didn't realize that I was shifting concentration on glutes, hams, and quads by doing this until watching this video just now, so thanks for the info Ryan. I just knew I wouldn't be able to walk for the next five days. Lunges rock.

Your form of masculinity is really toxic. Why do you waste time insinuating the Viewer is -this type of person- or -lazy and unmotivated - before giving the information? The entire delivery feels disingenuous.
I understand you-re a Cut above the average Joe but you should keep in mind that there are all types of people watching fitness content (including beginners) where your approach is just off-putting and makes it seem harder for themselves to get there.

After watching just a few of these videos it has become clear to me two things.
1. Ryan has a superior sense of humor hitting really close to home at times.
2. I clearly hate myself more than average as I find myself thinking I wonder what this exercise would feel like if I just did sets of 50 reps at my 20 rep weight.
Sir I thank you for your ideas.

Try weighted bulgarian squats on the Smith machine and then right into walking lunges about 20 lunges per leg. Your walk back to the Smith machine is your break then right back into set. Also I found single leg hack squats with the non working leg extended straight forward is killer as well.

I did the 100 rep squat challenge. The next day - work I was told to hike a 90 pound jackhammer miles into the angels national forest, and oh yeah if you want to work tomorrow get there before the helicopter does off the rest of your gear. FML

I'm a HUGE fan of walking lunges. SO versatile. Although my clients hate that I love them. I feel like a lot of guys feel like they aren't manly enough - but I actually learned how to implement them watching Chris Bumstead. Sooooo. ? lol

I don't know if you have covered this but I'm 50yo and was wondering what a good workout plan for my age and up should be doing. How many days to work out, how much rest, what kind of supplements and diets work for older dudes.
