Best Back Exercises Ranked (TOP 7 FOR BUILDING MUSCLE)
video description
1. Chest supported tbar row
2. Pullovers (I use dumbbell, but the nautilus or pullover machines like said in the video work best. If I had ever used one I would probably have it number 1)
3. Neutral grip lat pulldown
4. Deadlifts
5. Seated shrugging machine(if you gym has one of these you know how much sitting down, propping your feet against the pad and bracing yourself slightly elevated then shrugging out a set of 20 hard reps with a static hold at the end burns the traps)
6. Unilateral row, I use a chest supported plate loaded machine but dumbbell works good.
7. Barbell row, preferably Yates row variation to really overload the lats

Ryan I need some help I work crazy work schedules and have a hard time with nutrition I am able to fit in a workout 4-6 days out of the week but trying to balance the right nutrition is killing me I have tried about everything even bought a cook book and spend about 4/5 hours each Sunday trying to prep for the week and all I am coming out with is a empty wallet I was looking into meal prep delivery and I understand you get what you pay for but I would rather not spend 200+ dollars a week on a breakfast and lunch and make a snack in there is there any way you could do a video on the best but cheapest route to go for online meal prep

FWIW I had great results this year doing close grip pull downs doggcrapp style concentrating on the stretch ( elbows in at the top) plus a row movement 10 weeks THEN-
Switch to wide pull ups (even assisted will work) again DC style, deep stretch plus heavy Yates Rows OR Yates Deadlifts. Something about shifting between these two really grew the lats like never before

I-m glad you mentioned (and reinforced for me) the important form cues to hit the intended muscles, with less secondary muscles like biceps. For a long time I was hitting my traps and biceps instead of mid back/lats. My posture has been horrible as a consequence. But working now to strengthen the right muscles. Thank you for all your videos

I got a big upper body by genetic but my legs are behind compared with my upper body and I-m working on it I have seen some results but I-m still behind my question is: should I still train my back or wait a little until my legs catch up with my upper body? I got a decent back that-s why I decided not to train it and focus on my legs instead

It's a weird damn list for sure. all will work, but still a really weird list. some of these would require some experience as well as they aren't great for people who aren't flexible. Only thing I really dislike is the deadlifts. I don't know many people who still recommend barbell deadlifts, just use dumbbells or a hex bar instead.

Ryan, I-m a FNG to your page. First Love your videos and your humor. I-ve changed the way I workout per your videos and Holy Schiznit the deep burn and pump. Love It. You mentioned several times of getting the Garage Workout for $20. How do I get that and sign up for it. Thanks You and keep up the great work.

2: 10 I only go to the gym to lift something heavy because man points. It's 24/7 and has tanning. Otherwise, I would never go. A few years ago, I was obese. Now I have a 6-pack. Whatever, I'll do some deadlifts but only to pat myself on the back. I feel no shame in this because, I'm a bit of asshole.

Hello Ryan
I don't know if you will see this yh but I tried the pullover in this video, the last exercise
The thing is I felt it and I'm feeling it more in my triceps than the lats. Is it my form that is the issue or do I just keep going?
Really trying to build the lats well
