I like the way this guy thinks. Hes actually on point with parital reps. Its really good for pump action. You can even add it in your workout however you want to. I use partial reps also in my bicep workout i might go light and hit the curl with full extension then hit the last 5 with partial reps its really good. I achieved massive gains from it especially biceps and most times you hear so many fitness people not including a few partial reps or hell even some days I would dedicate a whole workout just in partial reps im telling yall its great. For me its all about the pump and blood flow. Thats why I love this guy hes straight to the point and really doesnt go to far into the science of the workouts which is great.

so i was cleaning out the garage and was putting the broom behind me when i remembered and old lift i used to do which was to take the Olympic bar behind me and lift it so that my arms were straight out behind me and my palms were facing the floor( this was ages ago, back in the 1900s). biceps basically parallel to the floor behind me, I feel it in my rear delts. forget what i used to call these, am i really hitting the rear delts? are they so under developed that i am really hitting some other muscle that i do not even know the name of? was sore a bit back there, but i get sore from getting out of bed in the morning, thanks

Omg, no homo but he finally lost the t shirt, when's he gonna take it all off lol. Yea rear delts are not easy at all to develope for years I didn't even really think about them until I saw how much more front delt dominate I was and it looked totally out of proportion. A lot of it had to do with the fact that I was doing to many pressing exercises and not enough pulling. It can get so bad in people that eventually they start developing rounded shoulders and that looks god awful, and its painful! Good video here though this dude really knows his shit!

Ryan mate totally love your videos and the best part is I am getting results from them. My question: as I don't have more than 1 hour to spend in the gym I would love to do splits. Can you please make a video on the best split options and the exercises to be incorporated it will be hugely helpful.

Ryan you are seriously one of the best trainers(workout experts) I've ever stumbled apon. i watch every video and everything you say has a meaning to me. My favourite thing you say is -train with exercises that work for your body- basic but majorly important and underestimated

In my studies I've read to target a muscle to failure are for those who use steroids unless it's a heavy day with a long recovery time. How are you supporting your muscles nutrition, supplements or otherwise if you're doing 5 additional slop reps per set?

A lot of naysayers love to slam Humiston for the partial reps but they apparently don-t listen to the reasoning behind it. This is a great example. Rear delts are hard to feel like you-re actually working them. These partials let me feel it.

But this does not make sense since training through the full range of motion for the same number of reps will still activate the rear Delts the same (as you cover the entire partial range of motion in the full ROM)
