Ready to grow those traps? Let's get after it. If you want help kicking your own (program. Started adding back in some old school exercises for just overall development and to make sure all the supporting muscles involved in posture got stimulated and wow did it blow up my back. If you haven't tried doing high rep deadlifts or slow rack deads then this will definitely knock you out after. You might find this does a better job than shrugs but I would definitely do these on back day because you're going to target your entire back as well. Sets/Reps Deadlifts: 4 sets / 20 reps Slow Rack Dead-s: 3 Sets / 15 reps Incline -Shrug-: 3 Sets / (3 drops to failure)

Ryan, do you have any suggestions for strengthening quads and hamstrings after sports injuries. I have had over 10 surgeries on my knees so I cannot do weighted sets like squats or leg extensions but I can do body weight sets. Currently I am doing body weight squats, lunges, and a couple hamstrings exercises. I-ve been adding in your method of slow reps and pausing at the bottom. Would you be able to make a video on exercises that can be done after sports injuries/ surgeries? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ok, I know you are about growth. But what about us guys that want to be fit. Im not looking for size. Just strength and fitness. What my friend calls save your life fit. Able to sprint a quarter mile, swim a half mile. Lift a 200 pound door off of yourself. Maybe carry your wife or friend out of harms way? Good grip strength. What do you recommend for that type of training? Fit lean and strong.

Hey Ryan. Just tried this today. Load a bar on the Smith machine with half the weight you usually use to do shrugs. Then only wrap one hand and strap around the middle of the bar while it is set up on the pins. Now reach back with your other hand and grab ahold of the cage for the rack and then do single arm shrugs. It puts your arm on an angle similar to a trap bar.

Hey can you do a video discussing PEDS?
Possibly shed some light on the PEDS/SARMS/TRT/HRT that you may have encountered in your career or personally please! I beleive your knowledge on the topic would be valuable & trustworthy. Its a relevant topic thats inescapable in todays gym going society. thanks

Carry groceries by your side! It doesn-t tax lower back much but you gotta park car far from from your home in order for you to feel it while walking & next day lol. No bs i say this from experience, learnt this on accident by doing it(: make sure they-re moderately heavy though

How old are you my dude? Im getting back into working out and you are some serious inspiration. Things have changed a bit since. I was last in the game but it's great to come back and have your content as a resource.

My traps grew so fast once I started doing heavy deadlift. I didn't deadlift for first year of training because of my bad back. Every person I have met who goes heavy on the deadlift has big traps.

I have lower back issues, so when doing dead lifts my lower back burns before I get a quality back workout in! Would you have a back workout that limits the involvement of the lower back?

I know this is totally off topic but I just went through a PEC tear yesterday, any advice on that aside from getting medical treatment? I don't want to go under the knife
