We must break him - teen beginners bulking plan - p3d4 - Buff Dudes tubbyrainbow111: I'm not trying to be a keyboard warrior just want to give youmy two cents, you can take it or leave it
1. keep you neck neutral when squatting, try not to curve it and look up like you are currently doing
2. Try not to let you knees wobble around on the Squat, something that can sometimes help is to try push your knees out when squating rather than have them wobble in and then out
3. please please please don't fully lock you legs completely flat on the leg press
other than that you are doing great, keep up the good work!

I agree with the general sentiment that the weights should be lighter on some of the big sets like squats. I'm not going to say do a 5 pound progression and make progress slow, or to make it really easy with that 135lbs. But a 50 pound jump is pretty ridiculous for a beginner. Not impossible, but if he doesn't know enough of the queues for squats that are key in helping you to lift more weight he'll probably have a hard time getting a good squat form at heavy weights. Also, IMO, long legs aren't an excuse for being unable to squat to depth!

I would suggest squatting away from the mirror and having Lewis pick spot on the floor to look at to help keep a neutral head. It will develop better kinesthetic awareness, and I think develop better squat habits. Mirrors distract from the mind/body connection.

C'mon guys, you're always talking about having proper form yet lewis has had terrible form on many exercises across this series, and now you're almost on phase 4. Not gunna lie, bit disappointed with you guys: (

Why don't they just put him on a regular ass plan instead of having him jump around with different shit, so his body can focuse in one thing, something like 5x5, or a regular body part split, who else agrees
reply

on the squats make sure he hits depth and make sure his knees are out, not going inwards. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TELL HIM TO NOT LOCK OUT ON LEG PRESS BECAUSE HE WILL SNAP HIS SHIT
reply

I would warn Luis to not lock out his leg on that leg press because that could make your leg snap and the Exercise is more about how low you can go not high just saying

Lewis looks more chill like he's having fun now. Hudson is so supportive, too. Lewis got the wrong definition for bilateral and Hudson still said, -That's good. - 4: 02

I think the next phase should be lighter and focus on form again or lighter weights and forced reps (E. g. if you can do 10 squats then do 15 with the same weight

His knees were caving in while doing the squats. I feel like brandon would've caught that and corrected it. Come on Hudson, We know its tough in the morning: ')
