Just finished Day 2 of the Beginners Calendar and it was easier than yesterday. I wonder how tomorrow is going to be.
Edit: Oww, a few hours later and I'm feeling so sore. It wasn't hard when I was doing the exercise but the pain comes later.
Edit 2: Beginner's Calendar Day 26 and I have just finished this video. I'm surprised how much easier this video is in comparison to when I attempted this video. I still cannot do the unmodified hip dips but with the other exercises, I can do the full versions. I have to get better at keeping my legs fully straight but in general, I'm very happy with how much I've improved.

I'm here in 2020 doing these during quarantine and I just wanted to say thank you so much! Not only are you such a ray of light during this weird and anxiety-riddled time, but I really appreciate the gentle encouragement and reminders to tuck in your belly button throughout the video, and the fact you share this content with us for free. Thanks for keeping the videos fairly short on some days, like this one, so total pilates newbies like myself don't get intimidated and make excuses.

K. Just started this workout series yesterday, April 1, 2020 to help break up my days during quarantine. Thanks so much for taking the time to go through the basics. I put my full length mirror on its side, on the floor to help me with my form. I've never done pilates before, so I'm looking forward to his new adventure. The PDF calendar in on my wall which gives me structure and something to look forward to every day while I'm stuck at home. Thanks again!

The exercises are good and really appreciate the reminder about the belly button but its so distracting with the loud music. Its hard to focus on your instructions and its not a good thing when one practices early in the morning. I had to turn you down so very low because of the loud music as not to disturb those still sleeping. Maybe have the music at a lower decimal while doing the video? Thanks.

Probably no one will ever read this but it's good for me to talk to the internet because I feel like I'm holding myself accountable. After years of wanting to workout yet being too lazy I've finally started this calendar because schedules help me think better sooo wish me luck! This was a great video and the first move hurt my abs but honestly the rest hurt my arms and quads more than anything else

The sides of my hips hurt terribly when I lie sideways. Can't do leg lifts. :( And no matter what I do, there's always an arch on the back of my waist because of my butt. Oh well. It's only day 2. Thanks for the awesome videos, I'm doing the 30 Day Water Challenge at the same time; hope all this will make me a bit stronger than the marshmallow I am right now.

Back in January and early February, I kept up with the calendars pretty regularly. However, as a grad student while working a couple of part time jobs, I eventually found it difficult to keep up. Now that the semester's over, I'm having to build back up. Hopefully, I can get back into it soon! For anyone else in a similar boat, you can do it! We got this!

I haven't done anything that really requires moving the body too much and doing day one made my body hurtso much that I thought I was going to give up on just day one but I didn't! I just finished day two and I am so happy! I feel so accomplished and so good. I even doubted myself that I thought I couldn't continue this!

Thanks for this! I started the beginners calendar on the 4th of this month, assumed I should just start on the 4th of the calendar, so I did. I missed all of last week, so I figured Id come back to the start- lol. Im glad I did! I missed the beginners level modifications you demonstrated here. Anyway, thanks these are great!
