HEALTHY DONUT? Not an oxymoron. I made these DELICIOUS DONUTS without deep frying or adding sugar! Get my dress Linlupin: Gonna go make them! But all I got is almond meal instead of flour, so they might end up being a lil gritty maybe, but stillll I'll edit this comment and see how it worked out for me and if my husband (who has the tastebuds of a child) likes them!
EDIT: Made 2 batches, one normally and one with the coconut oil mixed with the Cabelas' dehydration seasoning called banana split. The first ones I did a glaze of coconut oil with the Cabelas' seasoning and drizzled it on top, second ones have no glaze. My husband brought home real donuts and thus ate those instead but my parents and I really like these ones! OH! AND! If you do these in the oven, bake them at 325 F for 20 minutes when you fill each muffin hole half way. :3

Great recipe but almond flour can be a bit bad for you. :) A cup of almond flour contains about 90 almonds. I calculated that by dividing 640 calories in a cup of almond flour by 7 calories in an almond. Almond flour disguises the consumption of the nuts(Article) Just information to help you be aware: )

That whole speech about buying pretty things because the more aesthetic things are around you, the happier you will be is soooooo materialistic Positivity is a mindset, shouldn't be dependent on the material goods that surround you. That said, thanks for healthy-fing donuts!

Cassey your videos are so motivational. I've realised a lot of my struggles is related to emotion, but you're such a lovely girl that it makes getting better easier. Your attitude is amazing, so thank you for being positive.

I made these with olive oil and oats instead of coconut oil and almonds, and then added on top some coconut powder and a drizzle of honey. They were pretty good.

Casey you crack me up! When you eat that donut is how I feel about everything I eat that's yummy! Now I'm gonna try and make these since I have a donut maker too

Cassey, can you do something savory like spaghetti and meatballs? I'm looking for something cheap, filling, low carb and gluten free if at all possible! Thank you! :D

These look yummy! I think that if you added freeze dried strawberry or other fruit powder to the batter then you could make a scrumptious fruity donut. Mmmm!
