Been getting back into these after a few years (i injured myself a while ago and not yet well enough to use weights again) and my god forgot how effective these are! This one honestly does cinch you in everywhere! Don't know why but I prefer exercises like these for my core as opposed to lying on my back. A tip don't force yourself to do the elevated Ballerina twists unless you feel 100% ready to do it with correct form! I just carried on doing it on my elbow; and i'm feeling it like a week later: O!

I couldn't even do this video. It's not that I can't do hip twists and the rest of the exercises, it's because my body is so sore from yesterday's workout and the first 3 videos of this day. My body is aching and it won't allow me to hold my body up in certain poses for long. I believe my body will be capable of going through tomorrow's workouts. I just hope this problem won't be too frequent and prevent me from achieving my goal.

I come from a martial arts background, and before i tried pilates i was like this must be some phony ass wannabe workout and will be easy as shit. I was SO wrong. I was dying and my abs burned like hell and we were only 10 minutes in the class. It was so daaamn haaard, I was sore 3 days after that, and strangely, my neck hurt almost as bad as my abs, so yeah, i'm never gonna underestimate any get toned workout ever again.

My elbow really really hurts when I do that side plank on my palm. I can do two twist and then have to go back on my elbow because it just hurts too much. I also have elbow pain while I'm doing certain arm exercises. So much pain I have to stop the excersise. Is this something I just have to train or is there something wrong with my elbows?

i knowwwww it's a long process and stuff but i started doing blogilates in december (beginner's calendar) and we're already in march and i still have almost NO STRENGH in my arms. plank is my biggest challenge, no doubt about it. i feel i've improoved, i can see it. but still. kind of makes me a little meh
i wont quit though!

I can't do this. My elbows hurt really bad. Right near my elbow. All the workouts where you have to have all your weight in your elbow hurts. I try to do the exercises, but they just hurt and I only feel them in my elbow and arm. Any tips please? I feel discouraged when I can't do the same as she is doing

I honestly hated this work out. I have weak arm strength and it felt like I was really damaging my shoulders. I stopped half way through because I was pulling my neck muscles way too much. I ended up just sitting and watching her. The loathe I felt for myself in those moments is not something I want to revisit.

It is so satisfying to be able to do the ballerina twist after weeks that u couldn't! I'm becoming stronger and slimmer! Btw this is the first time that i do this workout except of only watching it ahah (I stopped just twice for taking a breath lmao) it's a very good vid, i can't wait to see results!

I actually liked the ballerina twists. Even my injured wrist handled it! It was a good oblique move you just have to keep trying and TRY AS HARD AS YOU CAN not to come down. The wrist that hurts, just move it to a diff position. And focus on your obliques and try to do EXACTLY as Cassey does: )

I highly appropriate your work, and this workout in particular. I as a 34 year old capoeira instructor, I need all the help I can get to avoid injury and to actually continue growing. Your friendly voice and hardcore 'get it done' additude keeps me coming back. More power to you.
