English
Southern / central / eastern England has a pretty decent climate. Average max summer temp of 31-32C, average highs of 25-26C but heatwaves can bring anything between 30+ up to 40C. It hardly EVER rains in the south / east of England & is in fact classed as semi-arid, with less than 20 inches of rain per year. The USA average amount of rain days in a year is 106 days, the same as London, for example. Except, London is still far drier than the USA average as it only receives 22 inches of rain vs the USA's average of 38 inches of rain per year. Plus, you get an even better climate if you are in the south & south west of England, with varieties of palms grown & extremely mild winters, thanks to the gulf stream.

Great video, but although I agree public transport is horribly expensive in general, it's cheap and reliable in London, and definitely NOT worth hiring a car if you're staying in London. Parking in London is expensive, there's a congestion charge to drive in central London (camera controlled so easy to miss, and you'll get a huge fine, and driving in London is not fun.

I really like these videos. The best advice in this one concerns using B&Bs. My family and I once met a lovely American couples who asked us where we were from. Thinking they probably would not know the small town, we answered, Surrey. The man of the couple repeated loudly, WHERE ARE YOU FROM. Those kinds of confusions are so much fun.

As an Englishman I just want to say that this is the FIRST video I've seen about my country in which I agree with every point made! Also, I'm actually from York, so it's great to hear my wonderful, historic home city get a mention rather than the usual London obsession I usually come across.

If you are going to try fish and chips, its always best to experience them from a traditional fish and chip shop (aka a Chippy) rather than in pubs or restaurants - most pubs serve fish and chips but they are never as good as chippy fish and chips

DO NOT DRIVE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD. I am guilty of that, entered the roundabout going right. Polite Brits did not even honk, but boy, was I embarrassed.
