The REAL Way to Eat an A-a- Bowl - Lexie Limitless

A-a- is one of my favorite foods so when I traveled to the Amazon in Brazil I was so excited to see where this incredible superfood comes from! Most people think of a-a- (acai) as a sweet food because in most places it's served as a smoothie bowl with granola and fresh fruits. When I heard that Brazilians in the state of Par- eat a-a- with fish, I was so curious. We took a boat from Bel-m, Brazil across the Amazon River to Cumbu Island where we learned how to forage for a-a- from the tallest palm trees. Our guide made climbing the trees look so much easier than it actually was! We were taught how Brazilians turn the a-a- seeds into a creamy liquid and were lucky enough to have been served an incredible, traditional meal with grilled fish to accompany the a-a-. Now when I eat a-a-, I'm so much more grateful after experiencing how much goes into producing the superfood as well as learning how much it means to the culture in the Amazon! Ohh, I went to Combu as well! The gardens we visited also grew cacao, and the lady of the land showed us how she made chocolate, we ate fresh brigadeiros, it was DIVINE! A pure delight, quite literally! The caboclo people are super welcoming, they also make super cute jewelry with the acai shells and other handmade beads! Some of my favorite memories of Brazil! They do not, however, really know what to feed vegans, as a fellow traveler found out when we went to the restaurant on the island and they served her lettuce and rice for dinner. xD Poor girl. I had the tastiest shrimps though! lol - Vai Para! Saudades!

what requires to climb tree like that. Is strengh, force, flexibility and skill? It seems it's not enough just to be skinny to be able to climb the tree.
