Ive flown from KATL (Atlanta Hartsfield Airport) to PHNL (HONOLULU AIRPORT) on Delta as well, except this time it was an Airbus A330-200. Also to get to that flight without making a 4 hour drive, we took a Boeing 717 from KVPS (I know, Air Force bases normally dont have a public side of the airport, but Eglin does, so thats nifty I would say, No long drive to Pensacola here. Even better, these flights occurred on my birthday. I just love it when coincidences happen, because one, my father has to be TDY and we have to have enough miles on the Delta card to fly! Because of this, only 2 two way flights have occurred (This does not include connecting sub-flights like my B717 flight)

I have been on the old Delta one and totally agree with your scores. Service was super, food was very good, lounge was very good, and seat was so-so. My reason for the seat being just ok is that they are short and there isn't much privacy with other seats. Also, when one is in the lie flat position trying to sleep overnight, the area in the footwell around the feet is very tight. One other thing is that the 767 is a very noisy plane. Thankfully they have now retired those and replaced them with new A350s. Thanks again.

I flew with Delta from Honolulu to Philippines several times in Economy and Business Class. Economy was good and the service was FANTASTIC! The food was ok. Business Class service, food, IFE were HORRIBLE! To this day I still don't know what I attempted to eat from Tokyo to Manila in Business Class - it was dry, hard in places, and tasted like ca-ca. Also, I have flown Korean Air the same route (Honolulu - Tokyo - Manila) and it was ok. Philippine Airlines has those two beat! Good Video, Jeb! I glad you were honest about some of the rougher parts.

i am a million miler on delta. I have found the Boeing jets to be uncomfortable and configured poorly. I try and pick an Airbus plane for my trips as the seat is more comfortable (always seems wider) and the technology seems to be in newer or better shape. Delta One to Hawaii is the only way to go. especially the return flight as you can lay down and go to sleep. Delta service 5 stars. always been treated special by Delta!

19/25 is way to high. These seats are a two, food is a two. If you get a working screen you gets a good amount of content. I flew on a Sunday a during December and watched a live football game. It's closer to 12 or 13 out of 25. You shouldn't give something a 4/5 if you don't like it. Your way to nice. I don't have any health problems at all and these seats kill me

Your chart at 4: 00 shows the new retrofit will include 38 Premium Select seats with 20 pitch. That is obviously a typo. No adult human could fit into seats with only 20 of pitch!
Checking Delta's website, it appears that the seat count and pitch numbers got transposed. There are only 20 Premium Select seats, and they have 38 pitch.

Im going to Honolulu on Thursday, Im going on the newer A330 since my dad works at hearts field Jackson (ATL) so im going on first class, Ive always been on first class except when my ticket got messed up on a flight from chile to atl where I got economy, it wasnt bad.

Just so you know, that flyover of California was not north of San Francisco, but in fact a little ways south of Los Angeles. That long beach stretching several miles is Huntington Beach, and those mountains are the Santa Ana mountains.

The 767-400 Delta One seat was my first Business Class seat, so naturally I personally love it.
I know there's a ton of better seats out there, but when I haven't been in them yet, I can't say the seat is terrible

I wish I had a seat like that and amenities like yours when I flew from ATL to HNL first class on Delta back in 2004. Flew on a 767, but not outfitted like that.
