What could be more romantic than a flight on a Boeing 747! Well, I recently flew Korean Air First Class in a Korean Air 747! The flight was from Seoul (ICN) to Atlanta (ATL) and is Korean Airs longest flight. This Korean Air First Class 747 experience was exceptional. The Korean Air 747 will be one of the final Queens of the Sky to fly because Korean Air is one of only a few airlines to have ordered the 747-8. Take a look at what it's like in one of the final passenger 747's to roll off of the assembly line. This Korean Air 747 experience met their brand's promise of Excellence in Flight! Watch this video to see what made the trip in the Korean Air 747 so special. And there was a lot! Not only was sitting in Korean Air First Class Seat 1A in front of the pilots amazing, but the Korean Air First Class cabin crew kept the food and champagne flowing! Ive never eaten so much on a flight before! Along the way, this flight report will include information about the seats, the inflight entertainment, the food, and the cabin crew from this Korean Air Boeing 747-8 flight! Ill even rate Korean Air First Class using my JebScore: By the way, nobody is more bummed I accidentally deleted the take-off and landing footage from this Korean Air First Class flight than I am! Guess Ill just have to give it another try What do you think of Korean Air First Class? Let me know in the comments!

Thank you for your review. The flight attendant should have just given you the ramen. It wasn't up to her to deny you ramen just because she thought it would be too spicy for you. The food you did have looks excellent. When I flew Korean, the food was also excellent both in economy and in business class. I enjoyed porridge for breakfast (a Korean choice) and even other passengers were 'shocked' that I wanted a Korean breakfast. That was sweet and endearing. The breakfast was delicious. Bulgolgi is a great choice for dinner. Korean beef is just absolutely delicious!

To laugh at you for asking directly for the ramien is a slap in the face. They should have just said that it is very very spicy and leave it like that. Thats already a 3 for me. I flew Business class from Honolulu to Narita and had to fight for my steak dinner. At first they didn't want to give it to me, then after five minutes of offering fish and other foods they came out with the worse steak ever. Fly Philippine Airlines and get treated like royalty.

I remember being on that airline last year. The airport is BEAUTIFUL, but the normal class seats werent very good. I had seen many damaged spots on the inside of the airplane, and the computer in the seat seemed like it was from 2001. Other than that, I liked it. I was traveling with my father at the time, so it wasnt that bad. Glad you at least enjoyed your experience since you were on a first class flight.

I just flew the same route last week but sadly it was on a Korean 787-9. No First Class cabin, the service was great but the food was at best ok in Prestige Class. Hoping to try their 747-8i one day though nothing beats the Queen of the skies! P. S. my 787 didn't have satellite wifi and it looked like the 747 lacked it also? Why is Korean not offering in-flight wifi?

Took it from JFK to Seoul and i swear I felt as if i slept in a hotel room the next day. That nose seating makes it so private and as far from the engines as possible. The first class lounge in Korea is great but the one in JFK not so much. after a shower there I was ready to continue my trip to Thailand. Its a shame they are no longer Chase partners.

I once flew Korean Air first class on their A380, and it was incredible. The food and the service were both spot on, and the seat was very comfortable. I found a good movie to watch on the IFE. The most special part was that we had the entire first class cabin to ourselves. All in all, a great flight.

Korean Air has the best food and best flight attendants I've ever experienced. I was in economy class and the food was delicious and beautiful. The flight attendants were so sweet, pleasant adorably feminine. I can only dream of a first-class experience. Korean Air is definitely one of the best.

You must made the trip in Last KAL 747 aircrafts. Most of 747 for KAL are now used for cargo flights.
I mostly fly on 777-200 or 777-300 from Stares to Philippines. Out four airlines I have used KAL & JAL are great airlines to fly. I will not talke about the other three airlines for now.

Good video, I think they skimped on the food and drink quite a bit, but it wasn't terrible looking. I'm glad you liked it for a 25/25 rating, that's pretty cool! Thanks for making the time to make this video and sorry to hear you accidentally deleted the footage but that stuff happens hehe.

I flew with Korean Air from Manila to Seoul-Incheon to Los Angeles and back. i was very impressed with the legroom and IFE, the IFE was good but the cartoons they didnt have my fave shows but my fave movies inside out and the lego movie the second part.

Yes, I agree completely: the 747 is the Queen of the Skies, and that has been so since the late 60's. What a wonderful plane. It's such a shame airlines stop using it, although understandable. The later planes can't match the grandeur of the 747.
reply

Awesome video. However it's definitely not one of the last 747 commercial flights. Many airlines are ordering 747's in the near future over the next couple years. And of course it is still the #1 choice among long distance cargo shipping
reply

Nothing beats the 747! It is hard to see them nearly never more in passenger service, but I have warm rememberance on 2 flights with the Queen of the Skies. Greetings and compliments from the Netherlands by Arie Bert Versteeg; -)

Korean air was awesome. I really liked their business class seat and that they gave a full sized toothbrush and toothpaste in the amenities. Also the fact that the purser greeted and bowed to each passenger pre and post flight.

You forgot A330s that Korean Air also flies Other that that what an excellent and exceptional trip!
Looked like a lot of fun cant wait to try KAL First Class! Especially on a 747-8

You're definitely a radio caster aren't you? Also, there is NO WAY that happened when you said you wanted the ramen and the attendant laughed and brought you cookies instead. I laughed so hard at this part!
reply

I'd have to argue with the assertion that no plane has ever been as beautiful as the 747. It was before your time, but I'd bestow the honor of being the most beautiful plane ever on the Lockheed Constellation.
reply

I don't agree about the 747 being beautiful at all! Concorde will forever be the Queen of the Skies in my book. Like a swallow, like a rocket ship. Graceful but faster than anything before or since.

Jeb you must have been in Terminal-2 ICN. It is very nice layout for terminal building. Love the info-bots were really cool. An must helpful for travelong public. I have not see any robots at DFW airport.

I had a layover Seoul Inchon Airport(2013. I found a beverage vendor which refused hot water for tea. Adapt, improvise, and overcome were the only things to do about it.

9: 24 is that a mosquito in the cabin with you at the window? The deadliest creature on the planet enjoying first class with you, fine dining on you while you slept.

For an American GI, serving in the ROK, there's nothing more beautiful than a Freedom Bird taking you home; a KAL 747. The most hospitable airline I've ever flown on!
reply

In a few weeks' time, I'll be taking KE for the first time in 34 years and although I will be in their business class seat, your video makes me think it is worth it.
reply

Did they serve you any macadamias? But serious Korean's safety record and service has improved tremendously since they joined Skyteam thanks mostly yo Delta.
reply

I enjoy your videos, but why do you ALWAYS have to sit in seat 1A? It would be nice to see some different perspectives of the cabin(s) you fly in.
reply

Several times I took Korean Air from SEA-ICN-MNL and it was a great experience. I agree with you Jeb, I will give them 5 stars on the service.
reply

Flying on a 747 is always so special My first time flying in a 74 was a few years ago on KLMs 747-400 in business class right in the nose
reply

Hey Jeb, will an American airline every achieve the high level of service, food quality, and up-to-date equipement of Korean Airlines?
reply

Why would you give service five stars if you were laughed at and denied the food you requested? I was expecting four stars max.
reply

my favorite plane is the 747-8 but I think Emirates airlines a380 has a better first class because I have flown first class
