I love southwest mainly because their so kind there. It was my birthday and we were flying somewhere for my birthday and my mom told the gate agent it was my birthday and that I was really interested in planes and aviation. And they went all put for me, they let us preboard so that I would have time to talk to the pilots and being in the cockpit was really cool and since I love aviation I also know a lot about it and it was cool to show the pilot what I know and the before taking off and after landing the pilot made an announcement that it was my birthday. And thats why I LUV southwest

0: 12 the greatest service. to southwest means canceling 4700 flights and stranding thousands all across the country. 0: 27 what makes the airline so special? well they are one of the few airlines that did not spend the necessary money to update their technolgy and they have antiquated systems causing huge failures across their systems during the most critical times. 0: 5: 59 What's not to love well for starters lots of people don't love being stranded at an airport for days with no food or bed.

I'm traveling I'm using south west. good price good service. good workers. i can take my back pack very easy. i can sit anywhere. the workers gives you free soda free chips. i dont need food inside the food. the drinks is ok for me. the boarding process is very easy very friendly. i felt like a family hahahha. and friends hehehe. good job south west I love it. Let me tell you their doing a super great job. i even say hi to the pilot he was so cool. 5 stars from me to stout wessssssssst

It's not what it used to be. Used to be room on every flight. If you showed up early or late you just got on the next bus. Between Houston, New Orleans and Corpus Christi it was the easiest thing you could imagine. If you booked tickets online you only needed four round trips to get a free pass for another flight. That was double rewards for online. For a while it was triple rewards for online. All you got was peanuts and a free coke or two, but that was perfect.

Thanks for this look at Southwest, Jeb! I'm from Phoenix & that's all I flew growing up. After I was caught in the Southwest meltdown in December 2022, I switched allegiances to Delta and haven't looked back. With one of their premium credit cards, I've been upgraded on every segment to either Comfort + or First! (Not to mention, access to Delta/Amex lounges) On the other hand, what an opportunity to sit down with Gary Kelly - that is awesome!

the SCARY thing about the seating. if you are trapped in the middle of a 3 seat aisle or. you are at a window and then it happens. you just HAVE TO take a pee! what you gonna do? wake up the brawny guy or call the attendant to wake HIM/HER up? I learned that the window seat is ok to watch you fly away from your hometown and watch excitedly when you are about to land in another city. otherwise, my bowels are WAY more important!

Because it's the poor man's airline. Without going as low as budget airlines. The no assigned seating is a concept that i wish other airlines would adopt, especially for their economy class. As an aviation mechanic i also prefer the structural build quality of Boeing over AirBus. (Southwest doesn't have any AirBus in their fleet for those of you that don't know. In fact they've always only used one airplane model, the 737)

A bit late to the party, I am. :) But WN does have a fairly attractive (and popular) culture that wins customers over with humor, quick turns, and great customer service. I've been fortunate to be a part of the system for 20 years as a dude with the orange sticks. I miss the people I worked with because it truly is an awesome place to work!

Someone told me years ago that the head of a Company their personalty seeps down to management and employees. That ceo seemed a gentleman. We have an airline in Ireland that is the biggest carrier in Europe, low cost no frills and is often much maligned but very successful. Have you flown with them, Ryanair.

Always have always Loved Southwest! I lived in the DFW area for years. I always had a choice what airline to fly, and which airport to fly out of. Southwest has ALWAYS had the best crews ever. (And man do I have some stories. You cant go wrong with Southwest Cattle Company!

No one luv Southwest. Its one of the worse rated airlines, underpays and overworks their employees. Dont get me started w/the experience to put it nicely, it feels like riding a overcrowded Bus.

I enjoy Southwest they offer a better deal then our own local Hawaiian airlines. Economy on Hawaiian no reserve sitting. They choose for you. At least Southwest has a better chance of seating with your partner.

Love? The airline to avoid, surely. And no seat assignment policy is the most irritating. In normal airlines, you can get upgraded to business for being loyal. Here they put you closer in the line? Ridiculous

I and many others dont like Southwest Airlines. When their prices were low because Southwest bought fuel futures Southwest was bearable. Now Southwest is hell. Better prices with other carriers.

Maybe Im wrong but Ive always considered southwest a low cost carrier. Regardless of semantics, I will never fly any other low cost carriers lol. Have had good experiences with southwest.

They should let you pick your seat at booking, even if the better seats pay a little more. Last time, I flew on another airline. My wife and I had the exact same seats coming and going.

I flew SWA from Portland, Oregon to Tampa, Florida, Great flight, great people super accommodating and very pleasant. Whenever possible I will continue to fly SWA. A GREAT AIRLINE.

I flew SWA only once from San Diego to Denver and the people at the gate were so welcoming considering it was Thanksgiving. They were singing and even dancing.

Southwest is one of the best airlines but they don't fly into cedar Rapids Iowa which sucks if they did I would fly on South west to Phoenix sky harbor
