What an amazing view coming into Cape Town, thanks for your thoughts at the end. One of my memorable views was from ROS to DFW. As we appreciated we weaved through huge cumulus clouds. Staring at these clouds, it was like you could reach out to them, but at the same time. They were awe inspiring to look at because of how tall they were from end to end. (there was so much to look at below us and above us) It was like we were flying through canyons, turning from one canyon into the next. I know the pilot was avoiding them for turbulence and and storms, finding the best path. It must have added another 15 mins to our flight, you could tell the pilot was flying slower to make all the turns. Thanks for he memories Jeb!

I would like to tell to all of you, that the most beautiful approaching that I could recommend you, is in SANTOS DUMONT AIRPORT, in Rio de Janeiro, wonderful when you make the landing from the south or from the north, it depends of the weather conditions and direction of winds. Probably you can change your mind when you taste the flavor to land or take off from here, unique experience in my Brazil, South America, and allows your soul to come here and feel the Cidade Maravilhosa(Wonderful City. Never forget, see you.

being someone that works on the ramp at Denver international airport im thankful to still have a job in these tough times. its hard sending planes out and seeing them almost empty. but there is light at the end of the tunnel. passenger counts and baggage counts are starting to go back up all though it might take a while. I love the aviation industry working on the ramp and seeing the different aircraft come and go. I how ever have to say my favorite one is owned by delta the airbus A-220.

Your words about returning to aviation at the end make me proud to be in this turbulent, yet astounding and interesting industry of ours.
I work part 121 and 135, and your words inspire me to press on, in these strange times, and continue to hope for smoother days in the future.
To everyone suffering in the industry right now going thru everything, I salute you, and am right there next to you.

one of my favorites window views I ever had was when I flew from SFO-EWR last year to visit a friend. out my window on the approach into newark, you could see the entire new york city skyline, and even the statue of liberty at one point, it was breathtaking. the second time i did that flight later the same year was at night and seeing all the massive buildings all lit up was beautiful

Great Vlog and very inspiring. my best flight view was from New Delhi to Paro( Bhutan) few years back. flight route is just another worldly. we passed through amazing Himalayan mountains including Mt. Everest which was very clearly visible from my window seat. It was something which I cannot explains in words. you have to experience it.

Thanks Jeb. I remember this video from 6 months back and your final reflections still hit home. The world has changed in such a way we could have never forseen 6 months ago. Your words really made me reflect on travel, my family who are abroad and things I've taken for granted. Things will be different but we'll all fly again.

To answer the question What am I grateful for? Too numerous to go into detail. Yet to sum it up, that I have lived through it. I got a chance to still spend time with family halfway across the country. Even though I personally don't like flying, I like the rails. Nevertheless, that's what I'm grateful for.

My favorite flight is from St. Martin to the island of Saba in the Caribbean. I have been on those flights quite a few times, because I lived on Curacao and worked on Saba and Bonaire. I hope to be able to go there again. Not only the flight is an event, the people on Saba are the friendliest you can have.

Tbh Ive flown to a reasonable amount of places, but the landing into LHR from the East still takes the top spot for the best views on approach, with the City of London below you. Lucky to have such a good approach into my home airport

i so completely agree with you. Cape Town aka The Mother City has left a very indelible mark on me too. I was also there in Feb 2020 and enjoyed it so tremendously that I so need to go back there when the world goes back to normal.

The best window view I've ever had was on approach to Portland, Oregon. If you arrive at the right time, and look out the plane's starboard side, you'll get a beautiful view of Mt. Hood in the sunset.

My favorite view is landing at Reagan Notional Airport from the north. The winding approach has allowed me to view the statue of Lincoln through the skylight at the statue of Lincoln.

The craziest and awe inspiring thing I've ever seen from a plane was a large funnel cloud forming a tornado before my very eyes. It was somewhere over the US Midwest

The most beautiful approach is landing anywhere in the Bahama out islands. There is nothing like flying over turquoise seas, sand banks and coral reefs!

Idiots flying all over the world are what's destroying the planet. No problem, you don't have to live here much longer so just keep destroying the world.

Who subsidizes this airline? Hard to believe it can be profitable. But being a geographer I sure would like to go there some day. Nice videos.
