This trip to the St. Helena took place from 15 - 18 February 2020, before the major current travel restrictions. I do not encourage anyone to travel now. #StayHome. Here's a video with my thoughts on the current situation: St. Helena may just be one of my favorite places Ive ever visited. The Saints are some of the kindest people Ive ever come across in my travels. Because I had such a great time, I thought Id try something different for this video about St. Helena. I normally make videos here on YouTube about airlines, but perhaps the most amazing part of aviation are the places it can take. Places like St Helena. So, in this video about St Helena, Im trying a little experiment: Lets

Loved your video tour! Seems like such a beautiful place to stay for like a months time! But unfortunately Im asthmatic and all that walking! Thank you for your footage of Jacobs Ladder! I was climbing with you! A shame you were not there longer as your captivated audience are wanting more and more from you! Your narrations were impeccable, filled with imagery if we didnt get enough of the pictures, your words took us over the edge! Thank you and look forward to your next trip! Hugs!

This is a nice video but I will not visit St Helena. There is nothing original there, no local food we must try, no arts, no musicians, no architecture. Everyone is different but I travel for culture. The Saints havent created anything worth visiting to see. Thanks for showing us whats there so I dont have to go myself.

The cheek of describing Napoleon as one of historys most infamous megalomaniacs does not speak for the narrators intelligent appraisal of history. In fact, it is highly unintelligent! Bunk!
The original tomb of Napoleon was not even mentioned. And some fallacious comments as well.
Learn some history, buddy!

In this video you mentioned Tristan de cunha. In 1963 the volcano erupted and they had to evacuate all of the inhabitants to an old RAF base near me in Hampshire. They went back the following year. I think some died after getting a cold to which they werent immune from.

Im always telling myself I want to go there one day with my dad. I remember the stories he told me about his great grandfather who fought in the South African Boer War and the Boers that was taken there as prisoners. Whould be a dream come true to go there with him.

Ive collected St. Helena philatelic material for many years. Ive also tried to stay informed about the Islands history, politics, people, economy, etc. One of my fondest hopes is to visit St. Helena while Im still mobile. Thank you for the wonderful overview.

Thank you for sharing I never knew this island until I see your video I become interested to visit this island. I'm from the island too in the Western Pacific called Palau. You better visit mine too. We have nice underwater view, best in the water.

Not only are these isolated islands super interesting, St Helena is incredibly important to world history given the Napoleon thing. Ability to come in less than a week-long boat voyage makes me think I could actually make it here lol

I would love to visit this island. However, at age 78 I doubt I will ever be ever to make the trip. I truly appreciate your video as I otherwise would have never been able to see his beautiful island. Thank you.

I think you need to take your sunglasses off when talking to your viewers. What is it with people these days, it is so rude to not make eye contact, I enjoyed learning about St Helena but the sun glasses bugged me.

I love Cape Town & Durban in South Africa (I was born in Lusaka, Zambia. live in Washington DC) St. Helena is now on my list. Love the Wendover Productions video about the airport. Thanks for the recommendation.

Great marketing of St Helena island. I learnt about Napoleon Bonaparte almost 30 years ago in high school and now after watching your video am thinking of pinning a trip to the island from South Africa.

Hey 20 minutes isnt bad, especially stopping to take in the scene. Honestly I would do the same. Ive been to many events where I choose to go the slow pace because I wanted to experience the scene.

Dear Jeb, can you where Don Trump & Pauline Hanson's holiday house is? Pauline reckons it's in Half Tree Hollow, near Neopolitan's old hangout. Just having a bit of fun Regards Roman/ Australia

as a Welshman I was surprised to see you drink a bottle of Brecon Carreg water - was that on sale in St Helena? .or, are you environmentally intelligent and use old plastic bottles)

Jeb! Loved your video of scenery and Napoleon's residence. Needed to experience the locals, where to sleep, what to see in Jamestown and what restaurants/shops are like.

Thanks for the overview of St. Helena. Glad you didn't die! I would have like to hear more about your experience of hotel, food, how to rent a car etc.

if this island is cut off from trade for a couple weeks it will be like the purge movie. very precarious position, i would never want to live there.

Loved the video, glad you took a seat for us lol. Wonderful scenery/history. wasn't on my list of places to visit but you've made me want to now: -)

Places like this always interest me. They're not big bustling places with alot to do but more so quite low scale which makes it more admirable

So thank you for the scenery, history, climbing the steps, hiking, would have liked to see a beach and the down town with the locals.

What a beautiful island. I think I could live here! Are there any Muslims on this island as well? Am I welcomed as a Muslim? :)

Yes, this iconic remote Atlantic island is synonimous to one of the greatest general in the world Napoleon Bonaparte. RIP
