In this video, youll go inside La Premiere, which is Air Frances most exclusive First Class experience. Its available on their most premium routes onboard some 777-300s (and, eventually, some A350s. Youll get a sense for the Air France First Class experience, including the secret Air France First Class lounge, the Air France First Class seat, the Air France First Class food, as well as the Inflight Entertainment. But, perhaps best of all, youll get a feel for what the ultimate in inflight service is. Air France First Class service is a step above just about anything you can experience in the sky with any other airline. Watch this video to decide for yourself whether a flight like this should be on your list!

I usually agree with you but dare I disagree with you on this? I fly mostly for business, so I rarely fly first class internationally (although I do fly first domestically in the US ofcourse. However, I was upgraded on my last AF flight (to First) but it does not compare to Emirates, Etihad or Qatar in First. Food was fantastic on my AF First flight, but so are the food on the middle eastern carriers too. The staff was very European' and not half as attentive as the ME airlines, and even if the space is big, you cannot compare it to Emirates for example. It was nothing wrong with AF First, but its not up there with the ME airlines or companies like Singapore Airlines. Is it a good product compared to other European carriers? Sure, but compared to non US or European carriers. its not that special. If a normal price ticket cost US 15. 000 or more, you have the right to expect a FANTASTIC product! .or most airlines are good enough in Business class. .just my opinion.

I had the opportunity to spend ten days in Greece the previous summer on a school trip. We spent a few days in Athens, with trips to other cities, such as Delphi, and then went on a Cruise on the Celestyal Olympia. It was very nice and very beautiful and I would so do it again. We flew in the Economy class (3-4-3) on Air Canada from Houston via Toronto on the 777 (I think it was the -300ER) and from Houston to Toronto (and vice versa) was an Embraer E-175.

Your first class experience is very different than the USA first class with a bunch of freeloaders looking to upgrade cheap tickets to first class thinking they can get something for nothing. USA first class is basically coach plus where you get leg room which is nice but nothing like you talk about. I was on an overnight first class where we did not even get a meal. Can you believe it? And we flew across country. First class in the USA has been devalued.

Hey Jeb,
Great review- I've added this to my bucket list.
I'm surprised so many frequent flyers order steak on first/business flights. It is not possible to cook a decent steak on a plane, as everything is actually baked or microwaved.
It's always nice to hear you express your feelings of gratitude re flying in first- you realize that these flights are a privilege and your down to earth approach is most welcome.

Perhaps one of the best videos Ive ever watched of someone travelling first class your videos are first class. you speak in a polite manner and explain everything really well no shouting yelling or silly music, Air France first class Le premier looks amazing Im fortunate enough to be able to travel with them next year from Paris to Bangkok return Im really looking forward to it thank you for the video au revoir

I just recently had the privilege of flying la premiere round trip and am unfortunately, absolutely hooked! From the ground service, to the lounge with spa treatments, OMG! I can't wait to go again! 1st flight was LAX to CDG, then my return leg was CDG to JFK. I didn't get a BMW ground service car, I believe they're switching them all to Citroen luxury cars, which were absolutely comfortable and amazing!

10: 45 Caviar: Salted, unfertilized eggs of a sturgeon fish. Because its fish eggs many people think caviar is gross. Theres also simulated caviar with a much cheaper price thats made from kelp, a type of seaweed. Yep, seaweed is edible. In fact, one of my favourite snacks is nori, roasted seaweed thats normally a sushi ingredient but by itself it makes an awesome snack!

First class is never worth it, get on last in economy. there's nearly always a middle row of seat empty seats, put your bags on them, then enjoy the in flight bar and meal service have as much booze as possible, then knock back circa 6 mg clonazepam the strecth out across the seat and sleep, next thing you know the trolley dolly is waking you up at descent. Saves 1000s.

Congratulations on your life long journey of marriage. It truly is a great thing. I love being married to my wonderful wife. Now to this flight. Yes, to see you move around this world in such style of first class has my mind going into attraction. I Am a magnet for Luxury travel for Teresa and I. Take care Jeb and your wife Suzanne

Oh, wow - this looks absolutely beautiful, and so nice to see such a premium product being reviewed from such a 'down to earth' perspective. I don't think my budget will ever stretch to allow me to consider this type of experience, so I'm living this part of my life through you - thanks for sharing! :)

Hey Jeb! I've been watching your videos for a while, me being someone who always gets a little nervous when boarding, I always like to watch your videos before flights. All your videos are so informative and you always bring a sense of tranquility, thank you for your material. Keep up the great work!

it is so sad that the air france a380 was retired, i have fond memories of riding on it along with a 747 when i was 8, the 747 i rode on was virgin atlantic who also retired their 747s, so those planes are retired and i will never get to ride on them from those airlines ever again

Sorry. I was totally underwhelmed with that menu. Both choices and limits. Given it was first class. Methinks you talking it up. Appetiser limited to caviar? Cold soup and no other choice? And that mid flight snack menu choice was less than Qatar or Emirates Business class.

I've always felt that la premiere's design aspect (especially in the lounge) is not to seem obnoxiously luxurious. It uses fine materials and some rather unorthadoxed designs, but it isn't trying to seem pompous in any way.
reply

For the price of these seats they better pick me up in a dam Audi lol. At least you can't say you're not getting money's worth. Great little showcase you did here. The whole experience in under 20 minutes, and very genuine.

There is a Mexican comedian that says that it is possible to ask for the flight attendant to give you a good night kiss, in first class.
But is it really?
I only flown once, and it was in economy, so I wouldn't know.

Hi Jeb you and Suzanne are so cute together and I love your travel video's, you think perhaps you can do tours of you travels outside of the planes? Would love to see some of your activities in the cities you visit.

The best single-person first-class suites are at least twice the size and have a private bathroom with a shower and a permanently situated double bed. The best first-class suites are on premium Asian airlines.

In the late 1970s on a flight from Whitehorse, CA to Fairbanks, Alaska on Braniff, there were more rows than paying passengers. I went back and forth a couple of times to look out the windows on each side.
reply

i feel like i would prefer something along the lines of delta first class in terms of seat, meaning with a door or how emirates suites are, i just prefer a door like emirates or delta compared to a curtain
reply

OK here's the thing. When the designers go modern AND minimal, you lose all the luxury. Like the Jetsons cartoon. How can anyone justify paying that much money for something so cold and white and stark?
reply

You can't say in the world, because you haven't been through Dubai's FIRST class, they claim that they are superior, ditto: Singapore airlines is supposedly superior, so who knows?

Flying from Orange County CA to Denver for the first time in my traveling life, i had a whole row to my self on 737-800. This was a United flight. IMO United is top notch.

I love watching this video over and over again. My 1st flight on La Premier is in a Month and I can't wait to experience all they have to offer. Thanks for a great video.

Hey Jeb! I have flown on AF's business class on their 777 with the new cabin, I think it's worth checking out, for me it was the best flight experience I have ever had
reply

Looks great but I'm a side sleeper and I don't see where I'd be very comfortable even in that big but I guess it doesn't matter cuz I'll never be able to afford it

I once spent 12 hours in my house without my wife or kids around. And it didn't cost five grand. Flush toilets, private bath, chips, scotch. Beat that!

Nice. LaPremiere lounge was almost as perfect as the Virgin First Class Lounge at Heathrow which offers a great view of planes taking off and landing.

the Chinese text on airport signage in Paris is interesting. Looked it up and it could be because a lot more Chinese tourists come to france now
reply

Nice video. Does anyone knows the phone number to call in Paris to book car service from hotel to airport if you are flying La Premiere? thanks.
