Delta is very snobbish regarding their livery. I would like Delta a lot more if it weren't for that. They absolutely should honor Northwest on their livery, especially since it was a merger of near equals in 2009. And it would be easy to do, just make the tails red, the long-standing NWA trademark. The rest of the airplane could still be that same old boring Delta livery.
United has very nicely honored Continental with their tail design. And while American doesn't have just one major airline it recently merged with, they operate several airplanes in retro liveries for TWA, US Airways, and others from their lineage. It's such a shame that Delta management for the last 13 years has been too full of themselves to show Northwest similar respect. For that reason, I prefer to fly UA or AA over Delta.

LIM is one of the few airports where I have been stranded. I was flying from LA to Buenos Aires on LAN (now LATAM) via Lima and Santiago. We were supposed to stop in Lima and continue with the same plane, but there was some mechanical issue (it was a 787 just after they were introduced; you may remember they had some teething issues) and I ended up spending the following day there, and slept the night on the airport benches. And then I missed my connection from Santiago to Buenos Aires and had to spend another night sleeping on Santiago's benches. I got a voucher from LAN though.

As a Delta DM, I wish Delta keeps a lid on the special liveries. SkyTeam, BC and Team USA are the only three that don't stir up things. We don't need politics on the skin of an aircraft - I hope Delta is wiser than putting certain political talking points on the airplanes as they do on the ground. The new cheap-Mexican-labor amenity bag is crappy - I came off several flights and watch most people just left those bags, whereas the previous TUMI ones are almost always taken. So much for go green when these new amenity bags are destined for the garbage.

Jeb, I've been watching you for years. I especially enjoy your joint videos with your friend Dennis Bunnik from Australia. However, I've noticed recently that the video portion of your last few trip reports don't run but the audio continues - this trip report from Lima to Atlanta is a perfect example. It is only happening with your videos, not with others I follow like Kara and Nate or Sam Chui. Just thought you should know and wonder if it is some kind of technical problem you could look into.

Pro tip, if flying Delta, AVOID the 767-300 and stick to the 400 like the one featured here in this video (or another plane. The 767-3 has old IFE, we recently flew Delta One from MSP to HNL and several of the IFE units did not work. The seats are uncomfortable and very tight. You might have to break up the trip to get a far better A321 Neo or 737-900 but avoid the 767-3 until Delta refurbishes or retires them.
Thanks Jeb for all of your great work!

Another great vlog and especially on a B767 as I mentioned to your pal Dennis Bunnik I defo think his recent vlog was defo enhanced by the inclusion of his good lady wife and I have to say the same to yourself that including your good lady wife certainly adds a great dimension to your vlogs so hopefully keep it up and roll on the next vlog

I was in Peru last week for vacation and I flew into/through Lima several times and always noticed all the old and run down planes sitting on the side of the side of the taxiway. Some looked to be in working order yet they were always in the same place each time I flew through. Peru is a great country, hope you had a nice time there.

Another great video Jeb! Only one way this could be improved and that is at the end. when you are doing the JebScore, the end screen comes up offering different videos, makes it difficult to see the JebScore - perhaps the endings need to be a tad longer to allow you to get this done and dusted, then get the video suggestions to show?

Excellent Vid. I fly DL EWR-ATL-LIM-CUZ RT regularly because you get into Lima early morning. At 6'1 250, the suite is a little tight if your taking the ATL-LIM and want to recline. But service is always fantastic. Unfortunately the code share Latam, LIM-CUZ A320, only offer premium economy which is 1st two rows, middle seat blocked.

I flew the Delta 767-400 from Lima to Atlanta back in 2017. I did not like the lounge in Lima at all. It was dark and overly crowded. Their food offerings were also poor. Delta still had the old business class seats on the 767-400 at that time, but it was still a nice flight. I much rather prefer flying the widebody planes.

I like your cheerful videos. Nice to be able to fly your favorite airline home. I have noticed a bit of extra buoyancy in your Delta scoring. Does an airline that serves synthetic OJ really warrant the best possible rating? And that lounge gets three stars? Gave me a chuckle. I like Delta too. Happy Travels!

Jeb -- I thought some planes had a walk up bar? Is that 787 only? I wish they would provide a space like that in all airline classes for long flights like that. A chance to stretch your legs, look out a different window, and for single guys like myself maybe meet a hot chick. lol: )

Im really surprised that airlines havent expanded the pre-flight meal ordering for all classes as appropriate as it would reduce costs and waste and help with profitability, as well as customer relations.

I understand your feeling. But I wish Airlines would use fewer custom liveries. Everybody wants to fight disease. But does everyone want to root for some dumb sports team or amusement park?

1: 41 that dish is called salchipapa. The Spanish word for hot dog is salchicha and potato is papa. Having lived in Peru for a few years I had that many times.

Pathetic meal options. A sandwich looks like in ecocabin. Narrow seat
Plus no first class cabin available. Delta has reached its rock bottom
