I enjoy your honest appraisals be it Boat, Train or Plane. My favorite snacks from home are my homemade biscuits and or Irish Soda Bread or a really dense brownie along with MRE CHEESE and Peanut Butter Packets, which sometimes Homeland throws away except for the Sealed MRE's. I bring Avio fortifide Drink Flavoring usually Grape or Lemonade and a 1. 5 Liter bottle of Smart Water which I constantly refill during the trip if water is not offered. Lastly, Goose down Booties since my feet tend to swell above 10, 000 feet. American has really down graded compared to what I flew in the 1960's. My first trip was to Hawaii from up State New York. Then as an exhausted Marine returning home with a flight from San Diego to New York, non-stop, I fell asleep right away and woke up to find I was covered with a Blanket and a Pillow behind my head and my Food being held for me. Times and CEO Greed has truly had a negative effect on passengers.

Great comparison! Finally some products I'm actually familiar with.
You got quite unlucky with your United plane there; I think more than half of their Max 9's have been fitted with screens. Bad luck you got one that haven't.
Free wifi is great but there's a shocking number of Delta planes that don't have it yet. I don't know the number off the top of my head but at least for me, more than half the planes I've been on in the last few months do not have them. And worst yet, the planes that don't have free wifi cost as much as American for wifi. While United's isn't free, I think there's something to be said for the consistency of their 8 price point (one that Alaska and Southwest both match too.
I don't generally like AA's onboard product but they do consistently have three plugs per three seats and I wish both Delta and United would follow suit.

Good video. You said you couldn t get in the Sky Club on an economy ticket? Since when? They always let me in w/ my Amex.
I m surprised at the poor communication you had on Delta. I don t think I ve EVER (ok, maybe one time) had a flight where the pilot didn t come on the PA before the flight to say Hi. The agents usually do much better communicating also, but I realize this can be hit-or-miss.
Anyway, looking forward to your next video!

Are united, delta and American full service airlines? The food they offer is worst than a low cost carrier in South East Asia. You can order or buy hot food even for a short hop from KL to Kuching which is a distance shorter than any of the legs shown. Malaysia Airlines from KL to Kuching has hot food service with drinks as well. For the big 3 in the US I thought the food and service is much better than a low cost carrier.

Yeah! United! I am an United fan! to the point that I only travel with United - with some exceptions when going to Europe for connections with Lufthansa. Tickets with United tend to be higher but, in my opinion, it is worth it. I also enjoy being a member of the United dining and mileage program. Satisfied to see that in both of your eyes, United was the winner. I truly enjoy your videos. Thank you.

Last weekend I got stuck in JFK for over 55 hours due to weather! I am under 21, so I couldn t book a hotel; I had to sleep on the floor of the airport for 2 nights! Due to time restraint, I never actually reached my destination, I had to fly back to where I started. I only had a backpack, with no clothes, soap, or toothpaste. Has anything like this ever happened to you?

I've never flown United, I once was supposed to but their plane crapped out at the gate and their agents help get me a new flight with Amereican who really stepped up. United lost my bags and American again stepped up and delived them a few days later. Flown Delta alot but thats mostly because my closest airport is a Delta hub.

As a guy with wide shoulders, the widths of these seats is absolutely ridiculous - 17 would be tight for me even if I completely removed my arms and shoulders. Whenever I fly economy, I end up sitting forward and sideways, and end up in horrible back pain by the end of the trip. 24 should be a regulated minimum for seats.

I ve noticed that seat width depends on equipment in many cases. In general Airbus 320 family aircraft have slightly wider economy seats than the 737 family. The best for economy seat width is the Embraer 170, 175, 190, and 195. If I m flying economy, I choose specific aircraft types, if possible, for wider seats.

American offers boxed meals similar to the ones featured on Delta. I hate those Biscoff cookies. I ask for something else. They usually give me pretzels. I don't know why but airline pretzels are the best. At least that has been the case for my experiences. Our airport only has American, so I only fly American.

Great vlog as always! I am with the mrs. UA is my go to airline in the US. I have flown domestic in the US since the late 80s. Back then DL, and CO was to avoid at all cost. I miss TW, NW, PI, and US. At US I felt at home. Down to earth airline. Keep up the good work. Be safe!

FWIW, the Delta seat was wider because it was an A320 while the UA and AA planes were 737s. The A320s are wider than the 737s which means the seats are an extra inch wider. If you were on a DL 737, your seat width would have been the same as the AA and UA planes.

Jeb you guys always continue to impress me. The fact that you all are willing to sit anywhere for the good of us and show the different amenities is awesome! Although I'm bias to delta I appreciate how neutral you guys are. Keep it up!

Jeb isn t too posh to squeeze himself into a budget seat, even though luxury travel is on his monthly agenda. Hat s off, even though your career has taken off, you are still very down to earth and that s what we love about you!

I flew on United last week on their E175s and the legroom was actually quite decent in the middle, and I'm a little under 6'2. I've flown on AA's mainline several times and the legroom was always a bit tight for me.

So much fun, I m so glad you made it! What a comparison! Here s a question: have any itineraries ever busted for making content? And if so, can we see a video in the future on them?

I agree with Suzanne: United is the best!
My tip for Econ? Take advantage of the buy on board, and be nice to the FAs. They may sneak you a treat if you are a great passenger!

Weird how at LAX Delta departed southside while United and American northside. Usually Southwest and Delta are north while United and American are south and Frontier varies

Too bad Delta announced the death of their skymiles program. I really enjoyed delta and can't believe they would do something like this to their customers
