United under performing on Flight Attendants scheduled for a transatlantic flight, and especially in Polaris, is despicable. For the price you pay for Polaris, that should NEVER be compromised!
Delta's Delta one on 767's is a bit tight legroom wise. If you take an A330 or A350 you will seea much noticable difference, even on the ex Latam jets they acquired, and retrofitted. Delta's food has ALWAYS been delicious, fresh and satisfying. The tomato bisque I had fromJFK to PRG was so appetizing.
I have NEVER flown American widebodies, so I can not compare.
United's food choices have been mostly very good as well.
Overall Delta wins the big three war. United does however win, in more East coast transatlantic non stop destinations. Delta tries to put you though Amsterdam, which can be a turn off, when you want a direct flight.
United is more open to flying to numerous Europe markets, vs. Delta only a handful.

Great review. You mentioned a premium economy test. I can tell you with great certainty which one to avoid on the PE list. That is Air France if the aircraft has the older clam shell seats. I don't think any of DL's fleet has the clam shell and the AF A350's and most of the 777's do not. There are some 777's and the 787's that do and they are absolutely horrible. You have a lot of leg room till you recline the seat and becasue it is a clam shell the whole seat move and the nice leg room you had disappears and your knees are into the back of the shell of the seat in front of you. My understanding is they are changing out the clam shell's for the non clam shells but I had the unfortunate case of being in 2 clam shell seats from ATL-CDG on a 787 in August and then from CDG-ATL on a 777. My flight from CDG-TNR-CDG was on an A350 and those seats were amazing.

It would be wonderful to see a premium econ comparison. Airlines have put a lot of money into prem ecom in the last few years; many consumers want a higher level product, but can't afford biz. That would be a widely useful comparison. Another content idea that I don't think you've done yet might be doing an entire vacation video. E. g, going to London and showing us what the two of you would find to be most interesting or a tips on maximizing your time type of thing. Since your FT job is travel content, you've got lots of experience seeing the sites and eating the bites, on a time crunch. Sharing some of what you do in between flights/trains to maximize your time, or what types of hidden things you enjoy in cities you visit frequently and tips for both, could be a good video or set of videos depending on performance.

In mid September 2024, I flew Delta's 767-300 round trip from JFK to Dublin in Delta One class. The IFE was terribly antiquated by today's standards with 720p resolution monitors and very limited content. TV series were limited to 3-4 episodes from just one season which made it possible to see the entire content for one sitcom in just one hour. The Delta One seats were truly uncomfortable in the flat setting - I experienced the same lack of shoulder and foot space. While the appetizers and desserts were quite good, the main course on the return flight was sub-par with fish that had the consistency of rubber over a bed of limp overcooked greens. The price was 2X what was shown in the video. Not a good deal at all on Delta.

I virtually never fly American so I can't comment there, but I'll say United's Polaris seats are my favorite, but their crews are the worst - slow, rude, unprofessional. I can't get comfortable in Delta One's seats, but their crews are consistently better, friendlier, and more professional. I know crews always vary, but overall Delta's crews are usually friendly and United's are often rude.
I will say the big surprise for me came with Premium Economy - I was extremely impressed by United's, while Delta's was just okay. I actually liked United's Premium better than ANA's (and ANA is my favorite airline, so that says something.

What are the odds that all three carriers would receive the same score It seems a bit disingenuous to withhold the scores until the very end. By doing so, it gives the impression that you were intentionally trying not to upset any of the three major carriers. If the result had truly been a tie, you likely would have addressed it upfront, and there wouldn’t have been a need to go through the entire video to reveal this. It feels as though the tie was used as a way to avoid making a clear distinction between the carriers.

I am always looking for Jeb and Suzanne and their terrific videos. They don't come as often as I would like. today, I find the newest and am I happy about it! Let me say. they are the perfect way to pull someone up out of the depressions. I had heart surgery three days ago, being warned that a certain amount of depression comes with it. But I watched Jeb and Suzanne, and they truly lifted my spirits. Thank you so much! You are happy, bubbly and never derogatory, no matter the circumstance. I feel a lot better!

When I saw Royal Jordanian RJ in the background, I went to watch your United Inaugural flight DC-Amm (for my 3rd or 4th time. I don't know if United went down in service or they do better for 10 hours flights. In the DC-Amm they provided better meal, pajamas, bedding toppers, kits. what do you think
Maybe you go again in United DC-Amm and try RJ in back Amm-JFK or Amm-ORD. It's time to take Susan visit Petra and Wadi Rum

Interesting but inconsistent report -what do you mean by data driven Not sure how consistent it is to compare a day flight to a red eye. A consistent review would have been all night or all day flights - preferably from a similar distance route say NYC area to LON Area. Why did you not use the AA/Delta Arrivals lounge It’s a material offering when flying business to LHR. I hope you can improve for your next report.

Last month I connected in Seoul to Manila. Lovely experience with Korean Air. On the way back, Philippine Air to Haneda, again, a wonderful experience. Pushed back from the gate only 10 minutes after the scheduled boarding time in Manila. The meal services were full of flavor on both flights. Highly recommend taking the trip there. I am planning to take the trip back next year.

I flew United Polaris Denver - Munich May 27th, got a glass of champagne pre departure. Was very happy with the service, food and bedding on the 787-9 flight. Flew United Prem. Economy on return from Munich to Denver, that was also a very positive experience. Will fly Polaris again to Frankfurt from Denver Oct 15th, and return from Munich - Denver Oct 31st

Everything involved with the Big Three airlines they’re all the same. Coming from a flight attendant that flys for one of the Big Three. It’s the same. Like you said- just go with the price and time best for you. None of them are truly trying give better service than the others. Flight attendants are the same- overworked and under paid.

Now compare those with Virgin Atlantic and British Airways We flew Virgin from Dulles to Heathrow and United back, and I spent most of the time using the unscientific Jeb Score. It was our first upper class experience and my wife's first transatlantic flight. Both were very enjoyable flights.

Great video once again. I'll never understand why airlines will charge thousands for a business-class or first-class seat and then make you drop an extra 20-40 for wifi. Delta's pricing is more sensible, but it does make me wonder why they bothered, as it doesn't feel like a very premium experience.

I just flew Delta to Spain and back from Heathrow. We were in Delta Comfort Plus. Had a great experience all around, would definitely recommend. Also Internet access worked all the way home across the ocean and was free.
Shout out to Greensboro, we’re from Raleigh, almost neighbors.

I recently flew united Polaris from Newark to Zurich. I made a reservation at the sit down dining at the Polaris lounge! The food was sooo good! You could get whatever you wanted and I was able to get a few things to try! It definitely elevated my entire experience with United

I always love watching these kinds of comparison videos! I’m starting to travel more often for work, so it’s really nice seeing all these options and seeing things through your well-traveled eyes. Thank you for the consistently entertaining and thoughtful videos!

Excellent breakdown of the three airlines! As always, I really enjoy your contentkeep them coming! For me, considering everything, Delta edges out slightly above AA and United, but the differences between these U. S. carriers aren't that significant overall.

Please do review Premium economy! So many more people use this class of service and in our first overseas trip in years, we thought American's premium economy offering was as close to business class as I could imagine (minus the lie-flat seat of course.

As soon as I can afford to fly business class I'll get really excited about this comparison. In the meantime you will probably pass my space in the cattle section. You know, sometimes it gets boring to be constantly shown how the upper crust lives.
