I know it's not exactly the same as having an entire business class jet all to yourself, but I remember once taking a train from Tamworth to Nottingham (a journey I've made plenty of times) and having an entire carriage to myself for almost the entire ride - one other dude got on with me, and left five minutes later at Burton-upon-Trent. That's an hour long ride with several other stops (including Derby, which is always rammed AF with commuters) on a usually fairly busy train at about 10 AM - and it was all mine! How often does that happen in the UK: D

I definitely seen them like a year ago. I recall them having like eops not registered yet, so flights took very long time. Now seems its solved. Prices are very cheap compared to other business classes, more than double. Negative is that its not flying direct to maldives from europe. I also dont have issues with business class being to cramped, for people like you and me, as we represent less than 1% of the population, being 6ft4. Airlines, like clothing companies, aiming for average folk sizes, like 5ft10 and so on. Dubai has 3 airports now though.

Beond are leisure based whereas the other all business class airlines are geared towards business travellers. I think that is why Beond say they are the first. First dedicated leisure carrier with a full premium cabin aircraft. Good solid money and people behind them too. Liked this one Noel. That aircraft has probably travelled to the moon and back a few hundred times over but you would never know it from the quality of the cabin following refurbishment. I wish them well and may well use them later in the year especially at those kind of prices.

Great video Noel. I love the empty airport, such a rare thing and a massive contrast to just about any other city airport, enjoy it while you can lol. I loved the plane, not seen seats like that before, thank you for taking us with you on another fun journey. Also, you have every right to enjoy your work, we as viewers love to see you excited about things, so please don't feel guilty, your enjoyment is our enjoyment.

Are you sure about that compensation entitlement Switzerland is not an EU member (they do have some sort of assocation agreement pertaining to opening the job market / work permit plus some other standardization of regulations, but they never joined as full members, and this flight neither originated within the EU, nor had a EU destination
reply

I didn't know that Switzerland, which is by any means, not a part of the EU, also participates in the EU Passenger Delay Compensation. But if this is the case, this is actually great! A second note: Beond has now only one aircraft, so any delays will surely cause subsequent circulation delays and/or cancellations. Wish them good luck though.

Another great video Noel it's a great little airline am it will get more and more busier when people get to know about it great having most of the plane and especially the airport to yourself if not a little bit eerie lol see you have a new mic great but stop putting it to your mouth makes you look awkward safe flying happy fathers day

In the 80’s and into the 90’s in Wisconsin we had Midwest Express. 2x2 leather seating, gourmet meals served on real china, chocolate chip cookies baked on the plane. Most flights were non stop. It was the best. Got killed by unions who made their employees too expensive. They cut services, and eventually were sold and disappeared. Sad.

As an American I'm not sure what you mean by the word, compensation. (Surprised to hear that you get compensation when you're early) I had a 9: 00 p. m. flight from Newark to Heathrow which left at 2: 00 a. m. and didn't even get a bottle of water, which is even worse when you consider that everything in the airport was already closed.

Noel, I saw the expression on your face, you made me giggle. Happy Father's Day,
The airline looked very nice, the airport, if only O'Hare was like this one you were in. Even Midway is busy. I never saw an airport as empty as this one, but in ten years, like you said in this video, things will be busier there.

Yes I met an angry Swiss, I was driving in an unfamiliar town & my satnav gave me a late instruction resulting in my car going slightly over a stop line at some traffic lights. The barmey bloke starting ranting & raving, pointing at the line & at my car. I was not blocking him at all. But I broke the rules!

That was one lucky leg of your trip! Every flight I manage to book is packed solid featuring the most overworked crew in the skies. I love this concept of all business seats, I will happily pay a bit more for it, and I will absolutely be searching it out next time I travel!

I've heard BetterHelp is a scam. I'm not sure, but it might be worth looking into, Noel.
Other than that, how do they do a merang on an aeroplane Wouldn't it puff up too much because of the low pressure situation It looked great though, whatever magic they used to make it

This was beyond experience. It looked very comfortable. It was an awesome experience being in an empty airport. Never felt that before Dubai is bucket list destination for me. Enjoy your trip Noel & Happy Father’s Day. Be safe & Blessings on your journey.

Somehow like many other airlines who seem to try this all biz class layout, it never works and from the loads on this airline I can see the same happening. Noel you had Lamb cutlets for lunch not shankhas that Americanism got the better of you already.

My best empty flight was about 20 of us flying to lefkas in greece on a monarch 757 as one guy knew people wh o rented the plane to ship equipment. For the sailing season. we were there to route find mtb trails. Great trip. That was the early 90s

Noel, you must be an introvert. You are always very pleasant, but you should slow down on your responses in conversation. You do say thank you quite a bit. Just gotta slow down.
Unless, of course, you're rushing to make a connection, lol

A good, honest review. Definite result with the upgrade. Loved the comment about being a 'Northerner', I'm sure the citizens of Lancashire and Yorkshire would disagree: ) From a fellow Nottinghamshire resident, keep up the good work!

Nice one Noel it looked pretty much like private Jet to private terminal to luxury accommodation. How nice, also how great did that jet look in black STUNNING. Great video looking forward to the next trip. Take care.

I enjoy the amenity kit because of the bag and not what's inside. American started using cardboard boxes with the same old stuff inside. I used to keep the kits and I left mine on the plane the last couple times.
