This is the first video from you i watched. I do not know your content at all. I have to say i find it very bad that you not only criticize china in every second sentence but you literally speak down on them. Shame on you! I have no idea what happened in previous flights, but nothing during this video would justify the way you spoke! What, you do not know how to eat a noddle soup with fork and knife, you dont like an egg in the soup, you did not take your Batterie out of you back like you suppose to. What else If you want to do travel videos be more subjective and stop spreading false information.

10: 00 Mainland Chinese people passengers require more social manner education. As a Hong Kong Chinese, I feel shame on their disturbing behaviour on board. Other than playing music/TikTok loudly without using headsets. I had three times of experience that passengers sat behind me were kicking my seat back for the whole flight time. The worst experience was that a slept mainland Chinese passenger sat behind me, he put his balded toe to the gap between two seats that near my neck position. You might feel the odour and how terrible experience was.

Does Noel not know how to use chopsticks That would be the normal way to eat in China (or really anywhere in East Asia. As for the security officers, their mainly there to monitor the Chinese citizens on the plane to make sure they're not accessing things on the internet that they shouldn't be, and to deter drunken and unruly behavior which can be an issue on Chinese flights especially if more than a few passengers have been drinking.

I flew China Southern once from Bishkek to Urumqi in China, where i was informed my visa was invalid and put into immigration detention until they decided to let me buy flights to go home! Nothing like having two armed guards keep an eye on you for 8 hours for an experience that scared me at the time, but is a good tale over a ferw beers. It was the embassies fault in Canberra, they gave me the wrong kind of double entry visa.

My Brit family always wants KFC when they come to to visit. However they insist on eating it with a knife and fork! So annoying and boy do they make a fuss. Who the heck eats a chicken leg with a knife and fork Pick it up in your hands - but there again they probably haven’t washed them. Rant over. All the best Noel to you and your family for a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year.

When I went to Mainland China from Taiwan, I flew to Hong Kong and took the subway/train to the border. Way less hassle, despite the extra time. When I flew out, I was going to the US, but it meant I only had to deal with Chinese airport security once.
Noel all but begs for problems by his itineraries in that country.
The single row of business class is hilarious, though.

8: 09 Hi Noel. So although I’m not an expert my experience with Pho which would be a similar albeit Vietnamese noodle soup, is to use the spoon for the broth. Usually in a restaurant it’s the bigger soup type spoon. Take a taste of the broth then with the fork take a taste of the beef and or the noodles. Picture it like 2 different dishes in the same bowl.

It takes far more time to transit from an international flight to a domestic flight. If you do international to international or domestic to domestic, it would be much easier. Also, the airport security requirement for power banks for domestic flight is different from that for international flights after a recent incident of power bank explosion.

I don't see much difference in that business class lounge compared to what we have here in Houston Intercontinental airport. What little food or what they call food i won't feed to my dogs. So i think unless you're comparing that lounge in Tashkent with lunges in Dubai or other asian and middle eastern countries, honestly its not much different.

I am an Aussie and love visiting China, friendly people and great food and there is some very spectacular scenery. Your comment regarding the security people on the aircraft, I certainly don't have an issue with it, I just feel much more safe with them around. I love tech and Shenzhen is just mind blowing, my favourite city to visit.

Just be grateful there isn't a pig trotter or a lump of pig intestine instead of the egg. This isn't stereotyping Chinese cuisine but it is a dish you'll never find at your local Chinese; however. I live near Warwick uni which is flooded with Chinese students and have the benefit of seeing authentic Chinese food on ubereats and deliveroo.

I literally can't bring myself to watch this video. Usually I never miss any of your videos. But I got diverted to China once because of bad weather and was stuck without a visa. What followed were a lot of very traumatic hours. I was alone and 19 years old at the time. I think I got PTSD. One of the worst experiences of my life.

As someone who arrived in Shanghai from London just this morning, I can confirm that you can now apply for the 240 hour transit visa online, prior to arrival. It's something they introduced on November 20th this year. It's so quick and easy, and before I knew it, I had a 10 day visa for China stuck in my passport.

First visited China with my wife 20 years ago next month, as a pre work assignment trip. Happy memories of navigating the airport as a complete Asia-novice.
Next time you are there just say Xie-Xie a lot and smile, it helps
We lived there for 7 years in the end, a fantastic experience

Talk about making things difficult. It’s transit WITHOUT visa. By asking everywhere for a transit visa you’re adding layers of grief that you don’t need. Applying for transit WITHOUT visa takes anyone else about 5 minutes. It’s simple, straight forward, and you just follow the signs.

I believe you thinking it's funny to pretend not being able to pronounce Guangzhou has in fact cursed you. Nah, just kidding. But I'm seriously wondering why you're giving off all these lowkey China-bad vibes all of a sudden. It's a really noticeable change from say last year. What gives

I've been to China may times, both on vacation and living there short-term. The first time I visited was fine, no problems. Living there was a nightmare. After that experience, I've sworn I'll never go back. I agree with you that the Chinese airlines have horrible customer service.

Aaah, the tiktok watcher - brought back memories that did
Literally, 13 hours from Auckland to Hong Kong I had something similar. Chap on his phone watching random tiktok videos without thinking about his volume. Even worse, he didn't understand what a tissue was.
