I go coastal foraging and go cave camping. We catch and cook fish, forage for wild plants and sea snails in this coastal survival ta outdoors episode. This is the second part of our 3 day bushcraft and camping adventure. For the first episode we did an overnight camp at Dustin's Bushcraft Camp. We built a log bench, cooked up some good food over the fire and had a great time. On day 2 we head down to the coast, to do some sea fishing with worms as bait. We catch wrasse, Dustin catches a Garfish which we clean, fillet and grill over the fire. At night we hook into a giant bass which gives Dustin an epic fight

When i was a kid my family went to the Gulf Of Mexico every summer at a place called Youngs by the Sea-one year my dad caught a 49pound speckled sea bass-it took him almost a hour to land that fish-his rig was a Zebco spin/cast reel a 6. 5' Truetemper rod and 20lbs fishing line-a resturant owner bought that fish from my dad and we ate one meal free at the resturant lol

Guys just an idea maybe because that spot has that natural theatre atmosphere, you could set a end of year bushcraft hoolie with other like minded? There again as there are cliffs haha. maybe Dustins set up ( forest ) and set a raffle and those that win get to spend time with all, money made goes to one of those charity's?

Great vid, watching the second time round now. Don't suppose you would disclose the location? I live in Bristol, but will be closer to the south coast at the end of the month and would love to take the missus and her friends there for a bit of a stomp. Feel free to message me if you would prefer not to disclose the location

Awesome video It's amazing how far it is from Azores and still, I use the same bait here to fish. And to catch limpets I use a knife, you just put the tip of the knife under and flip it, but you have to be quick, or else, as you explained, they glue themselves to the rock.

I hope you guys were sensible enough to go back for your lines and weights to avoid them injuring wildlife. Tip for everyone going fishing - never leave your lines and lead in the water. It's very dangerous and inconsiderate to wildlife and other people.

Try them with a bit of garlic butter on them it's a whole lot nicer gutted for you that you didn't land that bass but it would have been to big to cook on that little firebox and the ones that are just legal size taste the best.
