Stunning autumn colors are at their peak in this scenic drive through Provo Canyon on the Provo Canyon Scenic Byway from Provo, Utah to Park City in 4K. This video was filmed in early October and the fall colors were extraordinary. Along the way we enjoy gorgeous views of Bridal Veil Falls and the Provo River as we head north. Our video ends as we hop on I-80 and head east

It's been more than 22 years since I last drove this route and, my, have things changed. If memory serves me well, which it doesn't always, there were only two lanes, no tunnels, and I seem to remember (but I could be wrong) that the road crossed the dam. I was a bit surprised that you didn't show Deer Creek Reservoir for quite awhile after the dam, as the lake is right next to the road for awhile past the dam. And the traffic! And so much build up. I was disappointed in two things, though: 1) you skipped by Heber City; and 2) you didn't go to Park City, unless Park City has expanded its territory all the way to US 191. I was expecting you to go west on Hwy 248. And I was also surprised you headed east on I-80 and just kind of ended there. BUT. .. I had forgotten just how beautiful and awesome that drive up Provo Canyon is, especially with the fall colors. Thanks for the memory.

I have gone down this road many times, its by far my favorite canyon drive in the area. The rock walls feel so much higher in person.

One more in the bucket list! The only thing that beats 4K is being there yourself.
