Oh how just I wish your vlogs never end. Oh how deep I wish it. Guys this one deserved three episodes. So much to explore, hats off to you guys you covered. Intriguing stories. The astronomical observatory. No wonders the European renaissance's foundation laid by these civilizations. Hey hold on. Just wondering if you know figurative Art is prohibited in Islam. It just clicked me only Muslims through out humans history are the pioneers of Geometrical Art. The cosmic patters, stalactites, honeycomb structures. No other people could do it. Food for thought, when God forbids us from figurative Art, He is actually pushing us through exploring our souls towards novelty and invention and in this case the Islamic Art, whoa God bless you Vagabrothers

I don't know about your country, but in India we read about Temur, Samarkhand in high school history classes. And may be Temur is a hero in Uzbekistan, but not in India. Temur was a brutal invader and a looter. He attacked our country, looted us, killed many people, destroyed many architecture, temples. We always remember him as a villain and will do so. But yes, architecture is amazing. And Uzbekistan is very beautiful.

Really cool. Makes me want to go there Two things: I misunderstood the comment about how many people Timur killed. Did you say that the population of the US today is 17 million people? Also, I think someone who committed mass genocide of people, regardless of past accomplishments should not be named a badass. Great video though, it watched like a TV show. Very impressive and the historical content was phenomenal. Wow.

Even though this video was posted quite a while ago, I really appreciate you guys posting about such a fascinating, beautiful and important city. I was born in Dubai, my father is Sicilian and my mothers Uzbek ( Samarkand) and this video makes me happy just being extra proud from where Im from. Thanks guys made my day. Love from Caltanissetta, Sicily

Hey dudebros, I like your videos but your fact checking leaves a little to be desired. The entire population of the United States today is a bit more than 17 million, LOL. There's one screen where the leader is shown and it shows dates from 1936-1405 or something like that. IDK anything about Uzbekistan but I have to wonder about these facts.

Thanks for a great video Just a few comments on the photo of Timur, his DOB is off and you've chosen a really scary comic-like picture of him. Additionally, information about him building a head tower is not a fact, it's based on legends. Just so that you knowAs for the vodka, it's a Soviet legacy, it's not a custom to drink vodka in Uzbekistan.

Hollywood wall of fame is a bad comparison lol. You may find the British documentary Paradise Found interesting its a splendid 90 minutes of well presented Islamic history and architecture throughout the Islamic world. Im off to Bukhara in November for 2 weeks Samarkand lock up your daughters theres a new ruler coming to town
