I've been watching your videos and just loving them and you so much! Making my way through all of them as quick as I can. Thank you so much for sharing. It is such a small world because I was doing a short backpacking trip with my dad in PA back in Oct and I actually met Rebel Yell! It was actually his anniversary of summiting Katahdin. Not sure if you guys finished together or not. He was so sweet and you seem so sweet so no wonder you guys hooked up as a Tramily. I just had to share this with you. Lots of love from Delaware. :)

Thinking about the 12 shot disposable camera that weighs more than your phone, camera and cords that I carried on a section in 1971. To have a camera like you have today would have been inconceivable.
Got to try and stay safe by avoiding getting injured. ( said by the old guy who has kevlar thread holding his shoulder together as he had too much fun cliff diving. ) Seriously though got to avoid injury.

When I was overseas in the Army I never thought I would ever meet anyone as tight as my fellow troopers. Your videos have proved me wrong. Accept it or not, you and your fellow hikers are all true Hero's! Thank you for sharing this most important segment of your life! May your trails continue.

Miss Janet is such a nice lady, she's always there to help when she can, I didn't know it till a few months ago that she only lives about 20 miles from me. Your videos are always entertaining as they are, don't change, and love your good ole southern accent, be safe out there.

Dixie u are an inspiration. all of my friends and family think I'm crazy but I AM hiking the AT next year. I have already started saving and have a leave of absence ok'd by my boss. I can't wait and I will have all of ur videos watched before I even get close to springer

This is nice. I am also currently watching Will 'RedBeard' Wood's videos, where he shows almost 100% hiking (and some hitchhiking and camping) stuff. So seeing mainly the off-trail, trail angel/magic stuff etc is quite cool.

I recognized Sams Gap at the beginning of the vlog. I even recognized the lady with car trouble in the parking lot at Walmart, I don't think she has ever met a stranger, LOL. I hope you guys enjoyed your time in Erwin.
