ImJustFarhan: Man is Toyota really stepping up their game at this point. is Toyota actually coming back? While I still miss that V6 option the RAV4 once had, its still a huge improvement over its predecessor overall. Need I say more? I mean, were getting the Supra back eventually, the Camry looks maturely sleek and certainly not boring, the Avalon continues to be the most beautiful and best car they make while remaining as Toyotas flagship, the Tacoma (while it needs to ditch the drum brakes and achieve the same 301hp/267tq 3. 5L V6 and 8-speed combo from the all-new Camry and Avalon) looks badass and is really worth its weight in gold, same with the 4Runner (which I hope gets a redesign at some point soon, and now this all-new RAV4 looks badass and masculine, yet promises to be even more competitive than it ever was before. And honestly, because of whats happening, I am extremely excited about the new vehicles Toyota is building. Cant wait to see more from them in the future (such as an all-new Tundra, 4Runner, Corolla, Sequoia, Highlander, Sienna, Land Cruiser, Yaris, and the list goes on. :DNow. lemme see whether my dad decides to trade in his 2013 RAV4 for this beauty.

Awesome Aesthetically pleasing Thank GOD no more Dust Buster front end I love this chunkier and flat front Im wondering if all of the models will have the option for no moon-roof? I hope you can still get the updated JBL stereo and larger touch screen without having to bundle it with a Moon-Roof. I dont like that most manufacturers bundle the Better stereo/Moon-Roof option together. Also, I hope Toyotas Safety Sense can be turned off easily, so you dont hear a ton of beeps and unneeded warnings, as Ive seen with other manufacturers vehicles. I mean, I understand the need to Safety features, but some are just unneeded and can be more distracting to the driver. Having to turn off some safety features every time you start the vehicle is a hassle as well. Hopefully Toyota has thought this through thoroughly? Please Please I know the day of Driver-less cars are coming, but still far away. I love driving my own vehicle. I like to feel the road through my hands and feet. Isnt that the point? Or else, maybe just build, Mono-rails everywhere Ha

The front end looks like a brick wall with a poor approach angle. The squared wheel wells with the protective plastic cladding not completing the wheel well makes no sense the whole point is to protect the painted surface. Looks like they have now added a wider taller center console that will interfere with legroom. The infotainment Center is now a proprietary stick up screen. Last years model used a standard double din so if you did not like it or wanted something with carplay or Android auto you could just go to BestBuy and replace it with stereo of your choice for much more reasonable price then if you ever have to replace one of these things. It seems to me people are so obsessed with looking more manly that they Overlook practicality and function. Btw I gave a thumbs-up for Alex not for the car.

I like the previous/current gen post-refresh & then they went & added that ugly black body cladding that is probably plastic & makes the car look cheaper than it is. And it doesnt have a well-implemented integration of it either. I dont think it looks good anymore. They didnt do a good job with the redesign, and even though I like the design of the grill inserts, I think it looks a gaping grill or like when you make you a weird face with your jaw lol. Toyota needs to get better designers. They end up messing the cars from when they looked better before, which wasnt the case for the new Camry & Avalon (& the current/ previous gen. Avalon) which I like

looks more like a truck design now, and like a jeep with the more squared off wheel wells, leaving lots of space/gap. power sounds like itll now be enough, not to need a turbo, and thats good if the fuel economy can stay where it is now, making it super combo in those regards. but too trucky look inside, of which, is ok for me, but not too cool with the wifie, likely. but, unless it comes out like super soon, well likely already have made a decision on a new car (sometime this Sept. or latest by mid. oct. oh, if trucky looking, Id like it to have the locking rear diff, it used to have, back in play. I do like venturing to milder off roads trips

0: 36 The front seems to be sticking out a lot, making for a poor approach angle. Flat dirt road will be as rough as it gets for this SUV. Other than that, looks potentially interesting with the hybrid. Alex, any updates on any minivans at the New York show? Any indication if Toyota is planning to hybridize Sienna, or is Pacifica the only game in town for the foreseeable future?

I liked the friendly look of rav4s in the first 3 bodies, 1997-2008. But then, something happened in Toyota, they began shouting WE ARE NOT BORING and lost the comfort look of Japanese family cars. Now this one. My dog, this is a regular compact SUV, why look so pretentious? If I buy this one, should I put on my hiking boots and a grin every time I drive to a grocery store?

Tonka look is welcome. It should look like a truck, unlike Ford Escape and Honda CR-V (which lost those looks and ballooned in size. If it is shorter, that is welcome too. As models develop and change though the years they get bigger, bigger and bigger. Its a bad trend that has distorted our notion of what compact means.

I hope Toyota offers a Platinum Hybrid that has the lower moldings painted to match the rest of the SUV. The Limited Hybrid looks really Cheep with the unpainted black molding. Otherwise, its a nice refreshing look. Should be a high MPG vehicle with the new Hybrid offering. I hope the highway MPG hits 33-35

I like the new exterior a lot Unlike the new Forester, which I thought looked too much like the previous generation--a huge missed opportunity for Subaru. I cant see too much of the RAV4 interior in this video, so Ill hold my opinion on that (but I dont like the vertical tablet style infotainment system)
