Subaru should broaden the demographic with this car and make a real sport version with WRX like power (detuned enough as to not make the WRX redundant) better handling, manual transmission and rally mud flaps from the factory. Call it Crosstrek WR. Basically a street legal rally car for the masses.

I wish they would have made the more powerful engine available with the manual transmission. I won't buy a CVT. Subarus didn't need X mode until they started using the cvt's. The manual transmission has a different four wheel drive system and doesn't need X mode.

Definitely would be more interested in the crosstrek simply for better fuel economy. I prefer the reclined driving position, too. The headlights are a massive bummer, though, I would want LEDs to at least be available in some of the mid trims.

One of the best reviewers around. My only wish is that you would evaluate the safety/convenience features a bit more, such as, LKA/LCA and adaptive cruise control. There's a bit of a difference between each of the manufacturers.

No idea why this still has non projector headlights standard
I can understand why it doesn t have LED standard given the price but even that is becoming more standard but not completely

Funny, I just asked Ryan Douthit if you could order the sport model in blue with the yellow accents. And Voila! Here you are, a few hours later with this same exact model/package.

The biggest issue with Subaru s is that they are ugly station wagons. Sorry but I have to like the looks of the car before I will consider it no matter how good it may be.

All I needed to know was whether Subaru got their EyeSight(TM) working with manual transmission.
Went to subaru. com and read the press release. Nope. Bye.
