There are few true automotive icons left, but it-s fair to say the Toyota Supra is one of them. But it-s also fair to say that the gestation of this fifth-generation model has been, well, fairly drawn out. But now it-s here in production specification - and we-ve driven it

Very ugly car. A mish mash of lines, crease and angles that do-t merge to form a clean sharp shape. I-d call it Ginza Chic. But its a hard car to admire from almost any angle. Computer says -no. - I-d never consider it over a Z4. The bulbous front nose it very passe. Still, I-m sure it will be reliable, but it has no cache.

I-ve not heard any journalist say a bad word about the ZF8 speed, and then this guy comes along. I have that gearbox myself in my M140i and that is totally wrong! Unless the calibration is different, it-s smooth when you want it to be, Sharp in sports and sports +. The changes are so quick!

Gay what was Toyota thinking, this is not a Supra it-s a bmw, doesn-t feel like a Toyota or what a Supra should be. Why they even try to release the Supra if Toyota-s engineers can-t create an other Supra classic. Dumbest car ever made in history

Great car, just not a Supra or even a Toyota. No pride can be had in this car for Japan and it had little to nothing to do with this car. Honestly I think BMW deserves more praise for the great job they have done on this sports coupe

This comment section reeks of children on their learners permits -but it's 0. 2 seconds slower/faster than this other car-. Who friggin' cares, all I want to know is can we have some fun on a track with it?

Z4 engine, Z4 trans, Z4 chassis, Z4 diff, Z4 frame, Z4 interior, Z4 suspension, and it-s built in Austria by BMW. I-ve driven the Z4, just give me one thing that makes this a Toyota other than the badges.

these are putting down around 340 hp and 430 ft lbs torque at the Wheels on the dyno!
0-60 at 3. 8 and 1/3 in low 12's. beastly amounts of torque and Very conservative on the rating from factory

370z - less money, prettier, same power to weight, and a MANUAL. No thanks Toyota. If I want a BMW, I would get the Z4 and enjoy the open air experience.

Best car Toyota ever put their badge on, Z4 with a roof stiffens the package thus lighter, more agile like most other car brands with and without a roof.

Are they afraid to give there own opinion on the cars?
O yeah they dont wanna be ban from BMW invitation of testing there cars!
