Jeep Grand Cherokee: Loud Exhaust, Engine Light & Leaking Brake Line - PART II I'm 66, born in 1957, I had good mechanics all my life, because I know what a good mechanic is. Sad that some customers today do not understand what a GOOD Mechanic is, & Embarrass themselves & insult the GOOD Mechanic they already have, MAYBE this customer just learned a good lesson ABOUT knowing you already have the best.

I guess I'm not understanding why you didn't just reweld what was there and go with that. It seems a little early to cut that stuff off IMO. I just mean that it still seems relatively usable. Just needed a re-weld. I wish you would have shown the damage a little closer (pre-removal) and explained exactly why this is a replace job, rather than a repair job. and what criteria do you use to make that decision Cheers

Speaking of taking advantage of older people. Friend of mine his mother in-law, who is 81 with dementia, went into Meineke for the $20. 00 oil change special walked out with a $1300. 00 bill. Luckily, she used her credit card. She called the credit card company and they were like, Yeah Were not paying that.

Another satisfied customer! I almost always cut exhaust pipes with the torch. When doing the second step of the double flare an old mechanic told me way back when, not to reef down on the flare tool and let the nut finish it off when you tighten it. I like your tube bender pliers! Enjoyed watching!

Since you only said it twice, I think the Eastwood Line Flaring Tool and the Mastercool Hydraulic Flaring Tool are better. If you had said it 3 times, then I would have agreed with you.

There are tree huggers jabbing there eyes out with Sawzall blades because you used a torch and killed 5 baby humpback whales and 3 iguanas. Greta says HOW DARE YOU

I can’t believe how bad the metal around that gas tank was on this one. I’d hate to pay what a new car cost just to see it dissolve after a few years.

Thanks for the video Eric, hope you and the family have a great weekend! Also just a reminder, it's nearly springtime, no more wet neck or armpits!

Made me laugh when you were walking to the back to cut the tailpipe loose bumping the air lever on Victor. I used to do the same thing.

Explanation of why Vic is better than sawseverything, with muffler roll is an alltime SMA classic I'll be laughing all day.

How many times have you flared a line and the fitting was on the bench when you were finished I've done that a few times!
