Kept getting the error code AC shutting off engine overheating I change the coolant temperature sensor and fix the problem 8 months later it's doing the same thing replace that cool and Sons her again and it did not fix the problem they tell me there's a second sensor somewhere AutoZone tells me it is in the actual radiator but I can't find it. Does anybody know where the second sensor is and would it cause the same error code? Thanks for any help also the people at AutoZone says it's the same exact part so it should be replaceable fairly easy I'd imagine

Great videos good sir, funny seeing this tonight. Was working on a freightliner m2 today, saw wires at fan hub looking rubbed through, reached in and grabbed the wires, (key on, engine off)engine turned on and beat up my left hand, no major injury just fairly stiff hand. Foreman looked it over and got engine components to click, turned key to the on position, he moved wires around again and truck started right up. Cut some zip ties and tape around harness and it will no longer start but what a shock that was

I'm having a similar issue were only the high speed turns on every 10 seconds or so, I followed your video and got a new fan only to find out the connector harness (wiring) coming from the car is burnt through one side and it looks like the they connected one wire to the fan socket previously so I had to order a new wiring harness it's crazy that they didn't want to go the trouble and replacing that no wonder the car was confused!

Had that issue and replaced the thermostat and it stopped. I unplugged the fan connection at one point because it was in the way whole trying to change the serpentine belt. Plugged it back in and when i turned on the car it went loud again.
Then i unplugged and plugged back in and it stopped blowing hard. Been good after half a year of doing that

My Cruze does the same and Ive changed the fan twice. I bought the fan assembly at Auto zone and have lifetime warranty but the fans keep doing the same. I feel like their maybe a short and maybe messing up my fans. Could a shortage cause the fan resistor to not work or are the fan assemblies not good?

Those Chevy fans are horrible. I was assigned a Camaro pursuit car in the 90's and had to replace these fans on a regular basis, like every 6 months or so. I can't tell you how it ruins your day when at a crash scene you look back and see antifreeze pouring out of your car.

Being its GM my Buick Verano pretty much has the exact same everything under the hood. Im pretty sure my fan and fan motor need replacing. AC blows cold though and the fans are cheap so Ill order the parts and change it out later on given the car isnt being driven.

The Chevy Luv was a small pick-em-up truck.
I own a 2016 LTZ Limited RS Cruze. Ive had a lot of issues with it. that said, I have a 2007 Silverado that runs like a top with 174k miles on it. Ill probably avoid small engines as long as the market allows it.

Hey my Chevy Cruze fan come on when the car is idling but it doesn't be high but low and my car isn't over heading, can my fan be bad or is this normal. I replaced the valve cover and the thermostat and I'm still having this happened to me. any suggestions?
